Since nothing more had been heard from the guy in the US about exporting the partitions over here, I decided to have a go at making one myself. I have attached some pictures to show the results. I started with an old piece of cardboard to get a rough template, then cut the shape from 15mm MDF. Finally I persuaded my better half to help me cover it with black material before fitting in place. I followed the instructions from the US site to get the positioning right. I think it looks ok, and it definitely reduces road noise. Jim

I take it this thread is discussing the inclusion of reverse parking sensors as part of the spec for a new car. Can they be fitted as an after market option? I have a JDM - does that cause any issues? Jim

Hi. I have JDM 2003 Z. I can confirm lomoto's reply about the lack of a clock. Mine has an after-market stereo/StaNav unit which has a clock, but it's permanently set to Tokyo time. Yes, as far as I know the main output from Grangemouth is BP, so by that logic BP Ultimate should be cheap round here. Not at my local station! It seems distance from refinery is not the main factor in price differentials for fuel. It would be good to find out where Tesco's fuel is refined too. Oh, and does anybody have any experience of any other high octane fuel (e.g. Morrison's)?

I just filled up with Optimax for the first time tonight - over £60 to top her up! Ouch It hurts all the more as I can see the refinery at Grangemouth from the house. However, I had previously filled up a couple of times with Tesco's higher octane fuel, and noted a small but significant increase in mpg over ordinary unleaded (c. 8mpg)

heading towards Kincardine Bridge or Edinburgh at around 11.20 am. I was out walking the dog - thought my wife had pinched mine and was taking it for a spin until I saw the registration.

I bought my Z to replace a Honda Prelude 2.2 VTi (which I am still trying to sell, by the way). Apart from the four-wheel steer, which was great, the one thing I now find I miss that I took for granted on the Prelude is cruise control. Does anybody have any experience of installing after-market cruise control to the z? My car is a JDM import.

Hi. One of the plastic clips on the reflector has broken and I need a replacement refelector. Any suggestions? My car is a JDM import - I am assuming that the UK car has the same part and I could get one from a dealer.

I've just looked on the funkystyling website and they are advertising a combined speedo converter and delimiter for £27.50. What kind of delimiter is that likely to be?

My JDM had an immobilizer fitted for SVA, and it also has an alarm/immobilizer which must have been fitted by the Japanese owner (presumably to protect the expensive AddZest DVD/Satnav head unit). I tested it in the way you described and was nearly deafened in the process. My wife thinks I'm nuts, by the way!

I would be very interested in one of these of there was to be a group buy. Otherwise I too would consider making one myself - it doesn't look like too difficult a job.

Just done a search and come across this thread. I have a JDM, and there appears to be a limiter at around 120. What is the de-restrictor and how do I get one?

I am assuming that if there is another key, it is somewhere in Japan. The importer assured me that it arrived in this country with only the one key!
