  1. Nice, Do Nissan supply them? Do they come ready painted? Did you get them fitted at a dealer? Soory about all the questions but I think I want them! Jim
  2. Are you serious about this? Can you get mudguards to fit, and what do they look like? Jim
  3. That should read: "You're only as old as the woman you feel." Many happy returns, Chris.
  4. Dont tell her , she'll never see the difference... mine didnt We operate a joint account. She'd see that.
  5. looks like you want a set of 18"'s anyway..those 17"'s will be spot on for a track day If your upgrading, might as well go 19's Yes. If I was to upgrade I would definitely go straight to the 19". You can really see the difference in the way they fill the wheelarches.
  6. Thanks a lot! Just when I had stopped thinking about the wheels, too! (Her indoors wouldn't understand that level of expenditure.)
  7. I would be interested, but probably when I'm a bit closer to changing the tyres! I suspect a session like that would remove a lot of tread very quickly.
  8. If that was a bit closer , I'd certainly be up for this...sounds good..I like the sound of a lot of run off I think if you look closely you'll find that Steve said "ruin off"! That sounds a bit scary to me. Anybody know where anything similar to the Andy Walsh experience can be found in Scotland? Jim

Thanks, guys - you've confirmed exactly what I thought.
  10. Has anybody tried to have these fitted to a JDM import? Is it worth having them? Jim
  11. Which ones did you buy? The satin black or carbon fibre? Did you go for the Sporza version? Jim
  12. any problems with the auto box, I should know about? The auto box is very good in my experience. My JDM is 3 years old and has covered 24,000 miles. The changes are very smooth, so much so that you are often unaware that the change has happened unless you watch the rev counter. Jim
  13. My importer undersealed the car as part of their standard service. The radio expander I have works fine, but the head unit is an after-market one. The reverse gear beep is really annoying and it serves no useful purpose - nobody outside the car can hear it! Jim
  14. First was a blade with full bodykit and what looked like a CF bonnet. The next was a GM, with X--- LOR on the plate. Jim
  15. Well done Mark. And well done to all of the moderators who ensure this is a really accessible and helpful forum. I'm sure we all appreciate the time and effort you all put into it. Jim
  16. Sorry give them a try again and let me know if that's better. Yes, that's helped a fair bit. Thanks. Jim
  17. Thanks for the links, Barry. I've searched the "legends" site before, but the HPI one was new. Cheers. Jim
  18. Dis a compliment fella??? Said in the finest Liverpudlian tones! Jim
  19. Jeez - these pix took ages to download - can you reduce them a bit? Jim
  20. Yes, it's not easy to write in a regional accent - DH Lawrence had a stab at it with mixed fortunes IMO. Jim
  21. I've seen the Tamiya models on eBay, but they seem to be all from retailers in Hong Kong. What are they like to deal with? Anybody come across a decent sized model (1:20 or more) of the Z in Gunmetal? Jim

Likewise, there doesn't seem to be a Britannia branch up here in Scotland and it would be good to know if there are any other tyre centres using this equipment. Jim
  23. No offence intended, and I include myself in that as well! Jim
