  1. Although I'm pretty sure that Morgaine had to walk into work one day and announce that "she" would now like to be known as Morgaine and not Derek.
  2. I admire your balls mate but listen to the missus - lime green & alezan won't work. I've always found that women have a far better idea than blokes on colour matches/clashes - you only have to go out on a Saturday night to see that. If you're dead set on the green, why not go for something else but get the mad green "flip" in it? Seen some TVR's that went from purple to this crazy green under different lights
  3. John, I think I remember a good while ago a thread that was talking about the plastics just being painted. I've tried a quick search but can't see anything but I'm really tight on time so can't dig further but it may be worth a trip to your local Halfrauds or paint shop to see if they've got anything.
  4. Rob, theres nothing in your box behind the passenger seat is there? Also there is a false floor in there with almost like a coin tray under it - just make sure theres nothing there or under that tray either (lifts up very easily by putting a key or small screwdriver under it). This is where the main control unit for the bluetooth hides - there may be something kicking about in there. Keep your fingers crossed, iirc, lomoto brought out a Snap On screwdriver from either there or the engine bay!!
  5. It sounds like brrummmm brrrummm brum brum brummm bu bu bumm brummmmmm Unless you keep the boot in a bit longer in which case its more like brrrraaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr brrrraaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr And it looks like you might have a slight misfire.

    Oil

I used Amsoil at my last service, bought from a trader on here. I found that the overall cost of supplying my own oil for the Nissan service worked out at about the same price as having their rubbish. BUT obviously you've ended up with a much better oil in your engine

    who's who

First time for everything........... Anyway I'm Andy, another one in the lacking imagination on that day dept!!
  9. Lythgoe's in Bolton are overall good, pretty decent prices too. Had an issue with them which was resolved without too much fuss so you can't really complain about that.
  10. Accepted, I feel the same way. But there again I've felt that way about every other M3 too. It'll be a grower, they always are.
  11. Decent explanation here mate: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CV_joint also gives you a bit on the noises they're likely to make, probably worth a read to see if that sounds like your noise
  12. Cetainly does sound familiar mate (not from the Z tho) thats the first sign of CV joint wear - get her into the dealer quick sharp. It won't fix itself and ultimately will go, leaving you with no drive (and a big embarrassment outside a packed pub on a summer night if its anything like mine!!)
  13. Clutch thrust bearing Clicky axles Driver window reset Handbrake adjusted Boot struts
  14. I use the Megs NXT wash & wax mate (think Val does too unless he's changed). Personnally I love the finish with this stuff and its nice & easy too
  15. I haven't found 99 round here either

  18. Sorry to hear about Mrs Kerbside, hope she makes a full recovery soon don't blame you at all for your actions mate.
  19. My mate was working at TVR at the time when they've were developing & producing this engine. I'll never forget the day he came home and told me that they'd just managed to bolt everything together that day for the first time, they hadn't tuned it or fettled it or anything and it was already producing over 600bhp!!!
  20. At the mo I've got: (1) Funky house CD mixed by my mate (2) Massive Attack (3) Jamiroquai (4) Artic Monkeys (5) The Kooks (6) Hed Kandi
  21. There is already a warning in place - when it don't work no more fill it up. Nice & easy
