Just one to bear in mind guys as I'm in the process now, the discount with Flux is UPTO 15%, it depends on which insurer they were putting you with. With mine (Royal Sun) it has only reduced 60quid.
If only life was that simple eh? Sods law its internal memory.
My last phone had an external memory card and I never did anything to that to break it - arrrrggghhhhhhh!
Chris thanks for that , I have got a datacable for it so I'll give that a bash at home tonight. I really don't think I'm that lucky though, I reckon I've broken the whole phone rather than just the display but its certainly worth a shot.
The really annoying part is that it was still working initially until I tried to get the dent out of it (its stainless steel). If I had of thought I would have got all the numbers off it before I started messing around. Lesson learnt.
I did the really clever thing of slamming my phone in the boot of the car yesterday and now the damn thing won't work (no surprise).
I've not long had it and have been meaning to back it up but never got round to it so I now can't get any of my phone numbers cos it won't switch on. They were all stored in the phone memory (yes, yes I know ), anyone know if I've lost every number I've ever had or can they be got back somehow?
Me either - Nadine reminded me last night that there is absolutely no way I'll be fit to drive on Sunday. Its my mates engagement do on Saturday night and I WILL be drinking heavily, soz guys.
Maybe, not too sure yet. I'll decide nearer the weekend. With Wales last week I could do with a Sunday to catch up on home type stuff really, but I am tempted.
Definitely not a belt issue guys.
Its sounds like its coming from under the dash, only when you put the fan on (regardless of whether air con on or not) and increases with an increase in fan speed which is why I'm thinking it could be some sort of bearing.
No worries fella
We'll need to sort out what you're doing with the car, you've a couple of choices - NCP overnight (prob about a fiver if you put it in Arndale) or outside on the road. Or push comes to shove I could pick you up.
That said once we're settled on a date, I might be able to source some very secure parking, we'll have to see closer the time.
On the way home from the Wales drive my fan (as in heater/air con etc) started to make quite a bit of what I can only describe as a high pitched whine. It almost sounds like theres a leaf or some paper caught in it (if that makes sense).
Any ideas what its likely to be? And is it easy enough to access so I can check theres nowt there before I run her into the stealer?
I'm reckoning its most likely a bearing?
tia for any help
Btw guys too, I'll make my usual offer - anyone is more than welcome to stay at mine as long as you're ok on a reasonably comfy futon type thing or a dead comfy couch
