Water sports are really good in Fuerteventura and a beautiful island with lovely beaches. Not been myself but I've a mate with a villa there and the pics etc are always cracking (unfortunately he rents it out all year to James Villas so no chance of a sneaky free/cheap week I'm afraid mate - he's only allowed 4 weeks himself a year which he has to split with his villa business partner). Nice & near. Don't know what the score is with all inclusive though.

Done both options and will continue to do both. All inclusive is fantastic if you just want to lie on the beach and not move much from your hotel. I thought I had an option for you Zedrush, until you said 4 hour max flight. Come on mate, go for 8/9 hour flight - the Caribbean really know how to do all inclusive. Got a couple of great recommendations for you in Mexico (which should come in at/around budget). The only thing I would say if you're interested is be worth double checking its not hurricane season in September - I can't remember when it is exactly. I've not done an all inclusive in Europe tbh, sorry.

Doesn't look like its got a Thatcham alarm mate (only mentions it on the immobiliser), you may struggle to get insurance without one. That said, it would only be a couple of ton to get one put on, but may be another bargaining tool

This is definitely something I have to do at some point. But not with my brakes in the state they are now!! Think you can hire stuff over there can't you just for the Ring?

Could be worse - my mates ex managed to superglue her teeth together! Reason, she tried to bite the plastic end "nipple" off a new tube. Still, at least it gave the doctors in A&E a laugh, and me - for many years to come!!!!!

As far as I know the UK Z has a CAT 1 alarm as standard (I could be wrong on this, it has been known!) First question, does the JDM also have this? Secondly, this has just struck me while answering one of Nixy's threads: Does a CAT 1 alarm have to have an annual service? If so, why haven't Nissan mentioned it in their literature or ever mentioned it to me at service? The reason I ask is a while ago (ok, like 8/9 years) I had a car that I got a CAT 1 fitted to. This came with a service book which had to be stamped every year when the alarm had its service. This was explained to me as a requirement of the Thatcham rules relating to CAT 1 devices; this could, however, have been utter bo*****s from the fitter & sales. Now, if it was crap then when my car was stolen why did the insurers ask for the service record for the alarm? So, are we leaving ourselves open to insurance claim knock backs on theft if the alarm isn't serviced?

Is the CAT 1 standard on JDM? If it isn't, there will be a separate book for the alarm Nixy (just like the service book for the car) which should be stamped up as having an annual service. Which has just given me a thought (I'll stick up in a separate thread so I'm not crashing yours!)

Most car speakers would be the same at 4ohms though. Should still work though regardless, even at 8ohms (home speakers). All it would mean is that it wouldn't be as loud as the resistance is greater.

Certainly sounds aerial related to me. Is the aerial plugged into the back of the HU? Normally (although I'm going back a bit, it may have changed) this would be a separate (and quite chunky) lead, not part of all the rest of the connectors. Just check this hasn't come loose or isn't plugged in at all. I know you've checked them all but it would seem to be quite a coincidence that you removed the harness and it hasn't worked since.

Nice moves mate, decent time too . Willy I work with did it, he said it was like running through treacle at times with the amount of people there. Haven't heard of the walk but it sounds like hell!!

That really annoys me that. Saw 2 girls, both about 25, striding out of a BM the other week parked up on double yellows. There certainly wasn't anything disabled about either of them.

Had some p****d games won some, lost most. Got more drunk. Played a fair bit at Christmas with the missus' family but we played for shots. Only the winner missed out. That was a very bad day. Its fair to say by the end I wasn't very well, although I put that down to a dodgy bit of turkey .
