You will probably notice a more responsive pickup on throttle etc.... but will need a couple of tanks prob for the ECU to respond. Been lots of reviews in things like Evo as well, where certain Supers are better for different things, so might be worthwhile seeing the difference for a couple of tanks of optimax, Tescos, BP etc.....
  4. Muddy, is yours the red subaru that was at JAE last year in show and shine? Remember going past when you had the boot open?? Has the install got all white leather inside the boot? I remember thinking that I had NEVER seen a cleaner car, including the worlds cleanest exhaust! Sweet ride if its yours.....

You could always use another super unleaded instead of shell. Something like Sainsburys super, at least its 98 octane!

  15. ANother pet hate is those that do 65 mph (choose your own speed) in the outside lane when the other one or two inside lanes are free, eventually move over and then when you go to overtake, speed up?! What the hell is that all about? And don't get me started on people driving with fog lights on rear at the first sign of a drizzle!

  20. Yeah so do i..... its weird. I don't like the new or recent 3 series, but there is something about the new coupe in certain colours. Its a lot sleeker than the standard four door..... but not enough to make me want one!
  21. Its a japanese industry standard for quality, similar to TUV in Germany and DOT in UK etc...... A simple google turned up this.....: "Safety Standards: JWL-Japan Light Alloy Wheel (JWL) Standard for Passenger Cars. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport requires that aluminum wheels for passenger cars bearing certain plated numbers sold in Japan bear the JWL mark. The JWL mark can be displayed on wheels that have passed the standard through a self-certification system. JWL-T-Similarly, the ministry requires aluminum wheels for trucks and buses (with 1 and 4-number plates) to bear the JWL-T mark. Even if a vehicle is classified as a passenger car bearing certain plate numbers and is equipped with LT tires as standard equipment due to its GVW (gross vehicle weight), it must use aluminum wheels bearing the JWL-T mark. VIA-A third-party entity called the Vehicle Inspection Association verifies whether a product meets the requirements prescribed by the JWL or JWL-T standard. This association permits a product to bear a VIA mark if it passes rigorous quality and strength verification tests conducted in accordance with the JWL or JWL-T standard."
  22. ha ha ..... I can hear the sound of quick back-peddling!
  23. Great work Andy! But quick question, what "customisation of the wing" needs to take place? I thought the kit just fits without "major" mods? Just wondering as I nearly bought some of these in the past and thought they didn't require body mods etc?
