  1. So thats why she sounds like she's swallowed a headhog! And would taste like an ashtray!
  2. http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=16432 But that said, it still looks like someone has got a metallic red chocolate wrapper and twisted it from side to side! Especially the side profile shot..... But its going to shift!
  3. Maybe, not me though...... shes looking pretty damn haggard now. Must be the effect of all those G-forces when she goes sideways a lot....
  4. Is his shop still there? You could "allegedly" tell him that if he doesn't get the money back to you then you'll "allegedly" burn down said shop, or "allegedly" break his legs?
  5. Adam, I run 245 Falken 452s on 19" 245s and they look fine mate. I think you yanks have a different view on tyres as you seem to go as wide as you possible can! Maybe its cos they Falkens but lots of people over this side of the pond run 245s on 9.5 fronts...... ? No golf here: Some more: http://s94.photobucket.com/albums/l84/Jacko350z/Racing%20Harts%20Fitted/ Also, I thought it was the change in rolling circumference that affected the VDC, not the difference in stagger? Agree what you saying about differences in tyre manufacturers, you can see the difference with falkens on the sidewall etc....
  6. Fitment of tyres on 11 inch wheels is still the same here or in the states. Its just that you will different naming on tyres over there.... But anyway, 11 inch rears will fit on a 350z with the correct offset! Choptop was getting some (but delayed for now) and others have. But you can't just say a blanket ALL 11 inch wheels will fit. It depends on offset..... but like I say, if Adam has sorted them for you then sure they'll be fine! Did you ask that they will fit and what they look like?
  7. See they have one with the "off white" seats!
  8. btw, you could put a rear of 295 x 35 x 19 if you wanted to as well. That would fit a 11inch rear wheel, but most seem to fit 285.
  9. Does the JDM not have one in the passenger footwell as well as the one between the seats? UK car has one below the drinks holder in passenger side lower dash.....
  10. And this is worth a read for you to understand........ Certain sections more than others. http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html
  11. Jay, You must be able to find this info with a good search! Anyway your front will be (ideally) a 245 x 35 x 19 And your rear will probably be a 285 x 35 x 19 (I say ideally as you could use a 30 profile, but 35 affects the EDC and speedo less) My rear is a 10.5 inch width and I have 275 on, but you can't fit them wider than a 10.5 inch rim, therefore 285 should do it..... Btw, offsets have NOTHING to do with tyres, its rim fitment they affect! I'm assuming that if you have got from Adam, then he will have made sure that they will fit with your brembos and look good!
  12. Erm you didn't get as near to the big lettuce plant with your parking in the second pic?
  13. Welcome to the madness mate, Nice to see something different.....
  14. Nice, we need to see them on the car! Its going to look mean with those babies on!
  15. Yep, I can vouch for that..... had one of them as my last company car. 130tdi Passat sport with 6 speed box...... got quicker as time went on. When I handed it back at 33,000 miles it was just getting looser and looser...... Went really well and easy to slide around, very neutral handling. Obviously not a sports car, but I had some fun in it..... and was bulletproof!
  16. So what you getting now Jay then??
  17. Welcome Janz The P1/P2/P3 are the different types of service. From new they typically go: P1 9,000 miles or one year P2 18,000 miles or yr 2 P1 27,000 miles or yr 3 P3 36,000 miles or yr 4 P1 45,000 miles or yr 5 P2.... P1... P3... So basically the P1 alternates betwen a P2 and P3 service etc.......

Yeah Rob, when I got the 19" I went with Falkens as they've been really good...... They were fine at Silverstone btw!
  19. Yeah you gotta remember that in the states, the average Zed driver is really young as they dirt cheap over there!

    diesel

I had a A3 Tdi sport before the zed and that was good for a diesel...... midrange was excellent. I'd get one of them and chip it. Some of the figures you can get now are stupid!

  24. It also that in their eyes, putting 2k worth of wheels on your car, means that its more nickable! Therefore higher risk. What they don't mention is that I'd be very surprised if you got the 2k for your wheels...... would come out with market value crap etc.... its all a big scam!
