  1. Tere, Don't forget to post photos of a thoroughly cooked stock clutch!
  2. No permanent clock display Am I missing something here because mine defaults to the clock permanently on the righthand circular instrument on top of the dash. It should return to whatever you left it on last. Yep, and rather than having clock on all time. I have the digital speedo on that clock, then just hold the button down to "jump" to clock. Then click once to jump back to where you had it set....... best of both worlds to me, as use the speedo more than the clock!

    2007 / 2008 quote

Yep, I've just gone through the whole process again....... going to write a full write up for advice for people, but I found that the cheapest with my wheels added were: Elephant, Admiral, Bell (all part of same group) Then Direct Line.... If you ain't got mods then privilege normally cheap, but if you going to mod at all then FORGET IT NOW! They rip all your limbs off on notification and renewal due to mods..... Anyway, found the Elephant, admiral, bell very easy to see how much a mod will cost you in change to policy through the web quoting system! PS: Probably worth saying where you are in country. For example mine is expensive considering I'm getting older, 10 NCB etc due to postcode....
  4. Yeah! Who the hell is that anyway?? But awards due, thats gotta be the best off topic thread for a long while! PS: Sure Nixy is going to love that pic of her!

  7. I know, i'm full of them (and before anyone says anything..... yes full of it as well! )
  8. Dear all, In light of some of the more "active" topics, we have created some additional sub sections to be used to segment threads into a more logical location. They are (existing main sections in bold): UNDER TECHNICAL Brakes Tyres Servicing UNDER MODIFICATIONS Wheels Exhausts UNDER GENERAL Insurance Therefore can you all please familiarise yourself with them and ensure that relevant topics are posted in the correct areas (to save us moving them later) We'll try and do some housekeeping at earliest opportunity to move some of the recent/older threads, but this will take time. Therefore please help us by posting new threads into these areas if applicable! Thanks
  9. Should be this as well..... Beavis Digsy Lomoto Jacko M13KYF Jonathan73? Chesterfield?
  10. Maybe the only charts you know are the ones that Christopher Columbus used to navigate the seas?
  11. Nixy is correct.... In the weird world of insurance, the fact that you have a woman driver on the policy means that you the bad man of the driving world won't be able to drive the car as much (in their eyes) therefore reducing the risk.... Maybe they also think that if the woman is sat in the passenger seat, that she is going to stop you ragging it as well! Doesn't matter if she drives it or not...... used to be that you had to live at same address, but they dropped that restriction now, so use to your advantage where possible (anyone that hasn't!)
  12. ok, locked for now, until Chris fixes.....
  13. What do you mean, "beginning" Pot Calling Kettle.....
