  1. Ok guys the table for lunch is now booked for 12.30. This gives everyone plenty of time to get there and meet up from 11.30 onwards. Good man! Easier to waste 30 mins yabbering if we there earlier than being late.....
  2. Sorry to see it go Sinbad........ get another one soon!
  3. Oh god, gotta catch up on that then....... whats gone on now?
  4. Beavis Digsy Lomoto & +1 Jacko M13KYF +1 Jonathan73 +1 Chesterfield +1 Lincolnbaggie Kev946 signwizard +1 Count me in too!
  5. Hi guys & gals, See you all been busy! Anyway, back to the grind now after my break. Top hols! Got some crackin memories and photos..... Anyway 8 days with the Shelby Mustang (hardtop & convertible) was fun. Ragged to hell Good to be back though, how's things?
  6. Mine has the same issue. Parked on my drive, the rear of the car is slightly lower so not sure if that "helps" the problem. But if its been raining, everytime I open either of the doors I get a nice dump of water onto the floor.... So is this something I should be getting the dealer to fix? I just assumed it was standard.....
  7. Thanks guys for all the tips.....and places to see! I'll print this off later. We have the car all guaranteed and booked through Hertz at LAX actually Kev. Took me ages of online searching, but I sneakily got a really good deal on a guaranteed mustang! Anyway, thanks and see you all soon. I may manage to sneak on later, but if not...... enjoy the rain!
  8. I'm to sunnier climates (can't be worse) for a little while..... Going doing a "roadtrip" around LA, San Diego, Vegas and San Fran for a few days, so probably won't be on here for a while. Leave tomorrow and not back till the back end of the month. Gunna see how much trouble we can get in a nice convertible mustang (and how quickly we can burn some gas!). Will try to take plenty of pics! Now all be good and enjoy yourself Hope you get some decent weather for a change! Will see you all when I get back
  9. Sorry to hear the sad news Tim. My thoughts are with you and condolences to you and your family...... Just reading the article shows what a top fella he obviously was. He rode some class motorcycles there Tim! Anyone that wins at the TT (I've been around that course on a bike) earns my respect. I know its hard, but remember the good times and he obviously turned you into the top man you are today!
  10. Mark, I was thinking about the same thing, and I've just checked the latest copy. They've revised the 350z time with latest car. Around the same Bedford West circuit and now both in the dry using the latest versions of each car is: Porsche Boxster S 1.28:55 with peak speed of 101.9 MPH Nissan 350z 1.29.10 with peak speed of 104.4 MPH So you right when you all say a nat's chuff in it, but not several seconds now. That margin is slim enough to change with the same driver on the same day etc....... but still think the boxster is probably slightler faster around a track. Not sure on straight road though!
  11. That's class Louis! He is a god!! One of my fave bands and always comes across in a good humoured and relaxed way. No pretentiousness..... But you do work in media circles so would expect you to have the best list! When I was in the band, I met, in fact played gigs with Radiohead (they suppored us twice in Reading), Oasis (early days before they got signed, they played lower down the bill at a showcase in manchester), World Party, Levellers, Sandkings amongst others...... Met quite a few others including Gary Glitter (in the recording studio, his son worked there) Bernard Manning (hilton park services). There's two I'd rather forget ! And met some others that I have forgotten ....
  12. Sure this is one of our members on here..... And isn't it a woman?
  13. Considering that most dealers I spoke to, didn't have ANY details about the 2007 350z until a week before it came out, I'd find it suprising that any had any insider info..... I mean, I was telling THEM about the car! More like brown smelly stuff to me

  15. Yeah thats similar to what I thought........ i knew there was some weird law.
  16. One of the things we want to do is to have a list of good suppliers of each service in each section for easy reference. So feel free to post a sticky in the "wheel" section with contact details and prices etc. Then at least people will know where to go and you will do a good service to him, to point people in his direction that way. Word of mouth is a wonderful thing!
  17. Yeah but look very similar to the Audi RS4 wheels....... but nice none the less
  18. I know this is common in the states/canada etc due to bad weather, but I seem to remember that I got told that these items are illegal in the UK, therefore thats why you can't find them? Something to do with another typically antiquated law perhaps?? As i said, I'm not 100% sure, but might be something to check.
  19. the next one being the 11th i got a wedding that day 16th September mate Yeah, he just doesn't read the posts....... like the last time you told him that! Come on Stuey!

    2007 / 2008 quote

Just do a new quote with them on the website and I bet you see the difference. I did that last year and rang them up and they were just like fine, cancel existing policy, open new one and they transferred NCB across..... pointless exercise on their part really apart from they relying on people being lazy and not checking!
  21. Ok Dave, I'll take it with me to LA and use whilst there etc...... so that when get back, will have a good solid order placed. I've left it a little late, but should be ok,
  22. Cheers Chris! So: Beavis Digsy Lomoto Jacko M13KYF Jonathan73? Chesterfield Lincolnbaggie Sarnie Kev946 Lookin good!
  23. Can someone actually add up a postcode or something of meeting point for those not that familiar? Also, take it easy on that road lads, dibble likes to enforce it heavily, especially at the weekends!
