  2. Anybody based in the Southwest fancy heading our way for a wheel trying on session, and a healthy discount as a thank you? Would really like to test out the current range on one Cheers for any helps! Ben
  3. We can help We have the 19x9 and 19x10 Flat black with a red lip in stock
  4. DO NOT powder coat your wheels Paint them if you fancy a change, powder coating can make them fail if done too hot We also can help out with wheels if Z1 haven't already got you sorted
  5. These are fully road legal too I should say, and sticky
  6. We're looking at selling some Maxxis MAZ1 Drift / Track Day Tyres with wheel packages potentially... These are the tyres Japspeed use in their highly success drift team, they're well placed for drifters and track day people. They have lots of natural rubber in for good smoke, and are really sticky too! Anybody on here be interested in a set with their next wheel order? This is a gauging interest thread really, to see what we can do with them! Cheers Ben
  7. Thanks for the kind words Dan Glad we could help out, happy to support excellent clubs like this one where possible! Special orders for a few members will be arriving shortly!
  8. I'd like to offer somebody a blinding Christmas deal on some wheels If you're thinking of treating yourself, give me a shout, I'll sort something blinding out for you Happy Holidays! Ben
  9. We can indeed collect, looking at £35ish. If anybody sending wheels our way can wrap them in a box so they cant move around, ideally with a bunch of card bent over the lips where they touch the sides of the box, then a good wrapping it tape or similar, that would be ideal. They're usually fine, but sometimes they get knocked about and the finish suffers a bit Ben
  10. As per PM, I could swap them for £200 including all postage and collecting costs... If however yours are new and all perfect, and arrive back without being wounded by a courier, I might be able to give you a bit more money off to be fair, it's just to cover any damage / marks
  11. Gunmetal is now in stock by the way also gunmetal with lip
  12. The solution thats easiest - We will px your wheels back for some gunmetal ones. It will be similar money as having them powdercoated, and will be fully warranted, and factory finish.
  13. Chris I speaks the truth. It's the excessive heat, it ages the alloy hugely and causes failures on wheels that would never normally fail. S2000 standard wheels have been failing as a result of powder coating, and they never normally fail. Somewhere that knows what they're doing will probably be fine, but as a distributor because of the risks involved, we just cant suggest it being a cunning plan. It's entirely possible to get a good finish in paint

  15. Interesting that I have just seen this post. I have been reading up a little on powdercoating alloy wheels, as a friend with some standard EVO wheels had them powdercoated, and had cracked spokes within 2 weeks. Obviously if its done at the correct temperature it will be fine, but go to high with the temperature and you can have problems No wheel manufacture or for that matter car manufacturer will warranty wheels if they have been powdercoated by an aftermarket powdercoater, and that includes Rota. I personally DO NOT recommend you powder coat any wheels

  17. Time to close this one now I think... I'll do a new thread now
  18. Just heard from our Australian dealer a customer of his took it upon himself to do some very serious testing of Rota wheels. He bought some Grid Drifts, 18x9.5 ET30 Fr 18x10 et15 Rear , and threw some full slicks on. He then went and gave it death on a track, after having his car tuned to produce around 600hp. Not only did he weigh the Rotas and Slicks against his standard wheels and find them some 10kg lighter per corner, but he really felt the difference in terms of serious lap time improvements, as well as the feel and handling of the car was significantly improved. Once he finished this track action, after being so slated for running these wheels previously, he took it to a whole new level, and got them ultrasound and xrayed, to double check their integrity. These wheels are random set, sent to him from stock, with no prior knowledge of his plans for them... I will now let the pictures speak for themselves. As you can see it's no lightweight low-load track toy, and the xray shows not only a total lack of defects, but everything to be in excellent order and entirely uniform. The track time was maximum attack, taking full advantage of the curbs.
  19. We have a few 19s available already, did a group buy on some 19" GTRs! We also have some Linea Corse coming in 19s. As yet the Torque doesn't exist anywhere in a 19 In stock are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 Gunmetal Torques
  20. Those we stretched on there, more wheel showing for the pics then We have decided to go with some wide versions too... 18x11 and 18x12 looking likely! The extra width is all in the dish too, so a full 5" dish
  21. Just got a few more pictures of this wheel on a different colour car... thought they might be of interest
  22. £1500 for either set, roughly, with FK452s
  23. We have a couple of sets of both of these coming in left... we got 10 sets of each ordered, most are now spoken for!!!
  24. Traction was OK once the camber was sorted... he ran some pretty decent times at pod!
