An interesting read but unless I have missed something you seem to have got through more clutches than tyres That aside your last line sums up what the ZED is all about - sod the cost, eh

Viewings essential! I am based in Gloucester, although can meet you halfway somewhere within reason.
Looks like Toon Chris and Teatowel need to meet up around the Manchester area then and deal could be done?

de-rigueur for the M25 but MPG looks - you just filled up

To be honest I don't see the point in having a decent car and using it only when the temperature goes above 20 degress.
I agree - it does surprise me how many seem to put their ZEDs away when the weather turns from untypically sunny to typically wet and grey for this country. OK so we have to ease back on the right foot and be a little more wary for the clowns that don't know how to drive in bad weather, but then balancing the car's performance aginst the prevailing conditions is all part of the pleasure of driving and using the ZED as often as I can means more of these .....

Several people in Audi's (at Marksbury) and in bath gave thumbs up and flashes today. Approving ? Jealous ? or just understanding car owners ?
Loving this car !!!!
Was it dark? Did you have your lights on?
At least you don't need lights on - a squashed orange making a load of noise is enough
-
and just saw your other post first, so I'll say it again like others have said on this thread - great pics
-
nice pics - shame you did not get the ZED ones in earlier I sure one would have made the calender

With a fat case you put it on the passenger seat and your passenger (as long as they ain't fat too ) snuggles down in the boot

This morning. Nice exhaust note caught my attention before I saw the car - a welcome distraction from the Xmas shopping
-
absolutely stunning job - it

Don't know why the guy bothered at the Alfa stand - he should have just taken one of her face - she has one just like smacked arse

£4.35 is 300m's worth of fuel to me
Only 300 metres - the Lambo consumption that bad - not even enough to get to the newsagents to buy the mag if we had a whip round for you
-
edit - that's 900 posts. Note to self - need to get out more.
.....and with all those great roads up there too - wish I could persuade my other 'alf that is where we should be moving to

How did you manage to do that?Being based in Surrey and with my reg ending in ZED (2006 black coupe) - I was in hospital having a retina stitched back in my eye on Thursday, but here you go until I do pass you :bye:Comes with age mostly, or at least for about 1 in 10000 of the population, so Im told Also happens to people like rugby players or others who get a bang on the head.
Iv'e got something like a rubber band now round the eye at the back holding it all together, but most importantly the sight seems to be restored - I have been s..ting myself my ZED days might have been numbered......

So should mine be £400 or is the £205 correct?
Here is what Chesterfield found out for us a while back - down to when the car was registered - a bummer as far I am concerned having had to pay another £95 for exactly the same spec engine as the GT4s.
Here is the link to the full budget report:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/bsp/hi/p ... report.pdf
Sections relevant to the owners of the 350Z are 7.78 on page 191.
Quote:
• raising the rate for the most polluting cars (band G) to £300 in 2007-08 and
£400 in 2008-09; and reducing the rate for low-carbon band B cars to £35 in
2007-08, with that rate then frozen for the subsequent two years;
• raising the rates for graduated bands C-E, cars registered before 2001 and all
light goods vehicles by £5 in each of the next three years;
• raising the rates for graduated band F by £10 in 2007-08, then £5 in each of
the subsequent two years;
• in 2007-08 only, freezing the rates for motorbikes in the lower band with
higher bands increasing by £1-£2; and freezing VED rates for Heavy Goods
Vehicles (HGV), Special Types Vehicles, Combined Transport Vehicles and all
vehicle categories that are linked to the basic goods rate;7 and
• aligning the VED rates for petrol and diesel cars as the differential in nitrogen
oxides and particulate matter emissions for new cars is expected to fall to
close to zero once Euro V and VI emission standards become mandatory.
• Changes to this year’s VED rates take effect from 22 March 2007. All changes
in subsequent years take effect from licenses commencing 1 April in the
respective year.
Band G are vehicles with emissions levels above 225g/km and registered ON OR AFTER 23rd March 2006.
This means that any 350Z registered ON OR AFTER 23rd Marc 2006 is in Band G.
Thats £300 in 2007-2008 and £400 in 2008-2009
Mind you sarnie when you get that GT R the the money you get back from the sale of the Lambo should offset the tax then .......hopefully

Worlds end
in Photos
the oc is a very small forum, i.e there is only a few people on there (mark, sats, mattler etc) an inner core who post to each other in threads and the rest are ignoredI found that to be the case too. Your either part of the gang or your not. And thats usually dictated by whether you've paid your £35. Its dull as dishwater over there I'm glad i'm banned, adds to my notoriety, I'm like an outlaw
Better than having you as an inlaw

have a look at this:
http://www.nissanhelp.com/Ownership/Bul ... 04-106.htm
I had the rattle/squeak issue on my previous 2004 ZED - try draught excluder or similar pusahed down between the dash and windscreen area.
