  1. is that where the expression "cuming to a sticky end" comes from?
  2. I disagree. With a refurb they won't sell for much more than what the refurb cost. Advertise them on the SXOC they are always looking for them over there Yeah but they'll sell. That was the main point. Also I've seen perfect examples go for a lot more than £600 on fleabay and you can get a refurb done cheaper than £50 a wheel. oh sorry...thats the rate for us southerners! We have to pay double down here The refurb I had done in Surrey see: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight= was a lot less than £50
  3. Reckon about half of the posts are your efforts in getting 50 ZEDs on the NW run .........and most the others just whoring
  4. Thanks for that and thanks Nixy for asking the question - answers the same issue for me too
  5. Reading down the thread the owner turned up during that debacle and was taking his own photos and on the phone getting legal help. Hopefully the idots will end up with a far bigger 'ticket' than the parking ones they were issuing. It was outside a police station too and the coppers were inside watching and laughing!! Another example of the extremes the authorities will go to screw motorists - I have to visit that area from time to time and if I see that warden who slapped on the ticket after they mangled the Merc I will have to be on my very best behaviou that I do not give him a piece of my mind
  6. I would not know if the internal arrangment of the light housing allows for other bulb fitments (never have seen one apart). I wholly agree that in normal circumstances that it would illogical not to have the Bi-Xenon's with those housings but then Ardesco's car has undergone some cosmetic changes to partially bring it up to 06 spec - has it undergone the whole hog with the lights, which a comparison with another pre 06 ZED would sort out ........
  7. As I said in my last post then your car has externally had 06 parts added - to check the headlights further try to meet up with another pre-06 ZED owner and compare your headlights - best done at night of course!
  8. OK, lets try top resolve this for you. Does the inside of your car about the gear lever area look like this: If it does not have the brushed alloy surround to the gearlever and 3 dials in front and the hazard warning light switch below them and the sliding lid storage box behind the gear lever then it is likely to be a pre 06 car. Your headlight casings are certainly 06. That is confirmed by the 4 'lugs' to the rear that reflect the amber LED sidelights. As to whether the headlights are Bi-Xenon, these are a much brighter white than pre-06 lights and far more powerful than the earlier versions. You can tell by the fact they 'warm-up' when your first switch them on, as someone has said earlier in this thread. If you have all that lot then either you have an 06 car, or a 2004 one that previous owner(s) have gone to alot of trouble to update, whichever you should have something of a bargain if you paid 2004 money for it.
  9. Oy, you leave my dad alone Thank you son Sorry, just had to be done! That's OK lad, but next time they let you out of class early, behave
  10. Oy, you leave my dad alone Thank you son
  11. Quite a few ladies on here, they will be along soon We find that the bridgestones are a bit hard for winter and wet use, they can be a little slippy in places such as roundabouts and if too much right foot is used its relatively easy to spin the rear wheel drive zed. The others are slightly better in the wet etc. Nissan always fit Bridgestones as they have a contract with them. For relatively conservative driving they should be ok though. Just out of interest when Bronzee and Tere get here they know more about the cars than most of the guys Bronzee is a woman??? Yeah, and they say Nixy is too but she has yet to reveal herself, although you seem to claim a family link
  12. The central indent in the bumper, the LED rear lights (seen in another post of yours) and your headlights reveal it must be an 06 car and they are the HID lights that have a far brighter and whiter light output than previous models- much, much better . And by the way, the age of car that explains why you got hit with a £220 tax bill for 6 months, even though it is an import. Its the earlier imports that are currently 'getting away' with a lower tax bracket - lucky for them

    Which Colour

Red with black lettering, with the wheels you are using.
  14. A clue - have you not heard about the pimp deciding what to call his latest and really hot new recruit? He then says "POLO"! And when asked by the girl why, he says "because we will make a mint out of your hole"
  15. Don't upset Louis anymore - he's already on a downer as his month of fame is nearly up (his calendar pic for those too mean not to have bought one )
  16. Best thing that car has going for it is the reg.

  18. Ah, now we see you are lightening it by taking out a seat to make up for the weight aded by the mods - but its going to be tricky driving from the passengers side Martin That gearlever will be cold without its condom on too (sorry, got bored this afternoon)
  19. I am amazed with this reflection pic - its only the sky colour difference in the driver's mirror that gives the game away, and the fact that I know the mirror effect has clicked in and this one bowls me over - its almost like haing a picture painted down the side:
  20. Yep - already got a long list And a discount
  21. Many thanks Bryan - a really great job - well pleased . Trying to find a weather slot is a nightmare at the moment, hence the decision to do the job yesterday in case the rain did not let off for long enough before the Wales run. As you can see from the pics after Bryans work the Ebisu really does give a mirror finish - hard to believe its a reflection from some angles. Now need to get some new detailing materials myself to keep it looking good. 'Fraid I am of the old school having used a leather to dry off the car - I now see the advantages of using deep pile micro-fibre towel.
  22. Yeah - you trust the price includes VBH
