  2. I've got Falken 452's on the Nismos So far the only difference I have noticed is that the extra lateral grip is kicking in the traction control a little more often as I explore the adhesion limits but that's just down to getting used to the new grip levels so as to maximize the cornering potential etc. Since I've put them on the car it hasn't rained when I've been out to explore the grip levels in the wet.
  3. Welcome - looks as though you are into a big spend straight off - the 06+ headlights are a hugh improvement over the earlier ones, having experienced both, but at a price to do a swop as others have said. Oh and Mike - it is quite comforting to see a Mod do a double post
  4. Correct I like to be seen What colour did you say that flashy run-about you are currently using is? Run around: Ah - the fezza stand-in you had after your altercation in the G and had little praise for it, but if memory serves me correct your PRESENT run-around is a little number with 3 in it preceeded by an A, although you will forgive me if I have not recalled the actual model correctly? Sarnie, reveal all and then we can give a wave as you like to be seen and we wouldn't want to miss you

  6. Quote from the Show: Three Westfield drivers get through 84,000 doughnuts At the British International Motor Show three Westfield professional race instructors are demonstrating a prodigious appetite for doughnuts. By the end of the Show they will have got through 84,000! However, the drivers won't need to burn calories, as they have been burning rubber down at the Westfield Drift Experience. As well as performing doughnuts in their 1.6-litre, 155bhp Westfield Sport models, the instructors are taking show goers on an adrenaline-fuelled, two-lap sideways blast around a purpose-built drifting course. With the cars skidding throughout every day of the Show, the Westfield Drift Experience has been consuming rear tyres at a rate of around ten a day. The good news for the environment is that pre-worn tyres are being fitted; they are being used until fully worn and the rubber remnants are then being recycled. "Being able to recycle the tyres was vital for ensuring the Drift Experience complied with our 'green' policy," comments Julian Turner, Westfield's managing director. "Westfield's carbon footprint is already very low - our cars are fuel-efficient, 99% of our suppliers are located in the UK and all our employees live within five miles of our Midlands factory. The Drift Experience keeps the impact on the environment low, without cutting down on the thrills.
  7. Oh yes you can...................... and without artificial light: I agree though that unless the sun is shining theres nothing much in it between the Kuro and Ebisu
  8. Nice job and write-up Peter - question please, the EZ wheel brush, is that the best for ZED wheels or is there another you might also recommend? Need something that does not fall apart like the Halfords rubbish.
  9. Hope they have adjusted the throttle restrictor....................
  10. Here you go: http://www.totaltravel.co.uk/travel/wal ... wesyn-pass
  11. Sounds like you been frozen out
  12. At that mpg more like you 'borrowed it' - I'm surprised to see the plus side of 18mpg for everyday motoring - I didn't buy 296 horses to go on economy drives
  13. Yep, Admiral doing the business at the moment. £305 fully protected + legal & personal accident cover and then £20 extra a few weeks later for Nismo wheels as well as the standard Rays. Made me laugh when they said they would only pay the cost of replacing the Rays if the Nismos were stolen etc - as the Nismos can be bought cheaper than what Nissan charge for the Rays I'll be quids-in Oh, and saved £120 from the Privilege renewal quotation - they are no longer competitive and not interested in reducing their quote when I mentioned about lower quotes I was getting, no doubt a result of being taken over by Direct Line. Don't you find these days this happens every time - the big companies take over and 'service' nose dives and prices go up
  14. Welcome to the forum and as others have said nothing wrong in keeping the ZED standard, but its a real challenge to do that! Hope to see you out on the Hoon then there would be at least two 56GT Ebisu coupes
  15. Result, and all done for free - not often that happens
  16. Any advice about the Abergwesyn Pass, i.e. which way is best direction - looks like that might be some fun
  17. Let us know how many times you get your hands bitten off
  18. Very, very stunning - hope you don't mind me posting the pics up again - the mods are so well chosen and even down to the blackened quarter and rear windows - it all looks so Man after my own heart there with the shine you have achieved Just one question - de-badged at the front but not the rear....?
  19. Hi David and welcome to the site If you are anywhere near Surrey I can highly recommend a guy who repaired the Rays on my current car ( now with 19" Nismos ) and he also repaired the standard alloys on my previous ZED - see this thread: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... erbed+rays PM me if you want details.
  20. same for me - good to see more joining from the southern counties
  21. Nice looking ZED, but let down by that stupid mirror
