  1. Tha is what I thought, but then looking at a pic of his car the tips are clearly rolled - so were they cut off? Post No.15 here: http://www.350z-uk.c...8-my-blue-350z/ As said above, the underside of the back box will be marked if Nismo
  2. See post No.36 here: http://www.350z-uk.c...20#entry1624051 Don't forget to mention you are on the forum for discount
  3. Any help? http://www.ebay.co.u...=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
  4. Who is torqen? Pro trader on here And I see you have started another thread here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/108518-350z-needs-new-engine/ Which has already attracted options you can follow up on and Emperor has just posted up about a a Zed recently arrived with a good engine
  5. They didn't train you too well then on how to extract money while you were there
  6. So with the Mercs out, big credit to Max to get his first win having driven faultlessly with RB upping their game and with the Ferraris struggling on this circuit, but shame we were denied seeing if Max could match the pace of Daniel Riccardo after they made the wrong tyre choice in his case........ I am sure most are recognising Max has huge talent and will be a future champion but I look forward to some good battles this season between him and Daniel, who is not only quick but whom I rate as currently one of the best overtakers in F1.
  7. Lewis lost out in the first corner and understandably wanted 'his' position back, but there was more than the first lap to that and given most on here consider he is the better driver and providing his car was up to the job then strikes me he was in too much of a hurry.......a trait he has come unstuck with in the past. Just trying to be objective here as the stewards decided is was six of one and six of the other, rather than any clear fault being found.
  8. Maybe AA can help - see here about their "supplements"? https://www.petrolpr...-cars-2014.html
  9. Exactly! All I was asking Dan was your actual experience of driving or riding a 370, and now you tell us your experience with a modified 370 is zero we all now know the value of your opinion Oh, and the fact I now have an A45, which I bought for sub £40k as it happens, is quite irrelevant when you know full well my love of the 370 that I only had to let go because of the need for 4 seats and I could not justify having 3+ cars in the household, given my other half was unwilling to let let her car go in favour of having both the A45 and the 370 As I have said elsewhere, if circumstances were different I would have another 370 in a shot but for now I will continue to give every encouragement to anyone thinking of buying a 370 (or a 350 for that matter) as great drivers' cars, helped by many other real enthusiasts on this forum who have experienced them and know what great value for money they offer.
  10. So as you love knocking the 370, please tell us your experience(s) of driving 370's, or even riding in them? Cos, I have to say I found it one of the best driving cars for the money that I have ever experienced. Yes, for £40k+ and often needing lots of ££££s on top for the right options, there are better out there but not all of us have the depth of pockets you seem to enjoy
  11. Won't find much better than this - well known 370 on the forum and kinda your way with a short swim across the Bristol Channel! http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/104599-370z-gt-edition-for-sale-price-drop/
  12. Well that is the 2016 driver line-up sorted then - Ekona has spoken!
  13. And are we going back on topic now.....please Have to agree with the thoughts that RB are desperate to hang onto Max and were probably looking for the first opportunity to move him up in the hope that keeps him on board.
  14. This might help: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_370Z
  15. And see paragraph 2 of Post No.17.
  16. Post No.17 here: http://www.350z-uk.c...percharged-zed/ And link to Zman's procedure here (now a guide), in case you have not seen that: http://www.350z-uk.c...nt-bleed-guide/
  17. Piece of scaffold pole over your 'stubby', after a dose of the plus gas on the bolts, should help I would also use a six sided socket to help avoid rounding off the bolts.
  18. The 370 (like the 350) is a relatively heavyweight car for track use so expect to get through brakes and tyres quickly. Don't forget they are best at quick cruising in unmodified form and having done several road trips I have found them effortless for the purpose for which they were designed, but bring out a real grin on the twisties when you want. That's not to say the 370 is not a decent track toy with the right mods and as long as your pockets can take the hit then go for it There are a few 370 build threads on here if you dd a search to get a better idea: http://www.350z-uk.c...build-projects/
  19. Good info - didn't know that Bumper removal guide: http://www.350z-uk.c...e-front-bumper/ (may need to change your browser to see all the pics as Safari is just throwing up the question mark boxes in the first post for me)
  20. Had the 370 for near on 5 years - loved it and would have another if the need for 4 seats was not a priority. And as you will see, we have a Porsche lover in our midst who you can see is not short on posts on this forum and we think he is secretly harbouring a love for the 370's, not having ever owned one.....I will say no more.
  21. Ok then. £12k??? Damn....Thought I might get a take for £10k
  22. Ebized

    Warped discs?

You have just told us you have 30mm spacers on the car: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/108016-serious-handling-issues-help/#entry1617748 Try the car without them for starters.
  23. I would strongly suggest you consider new front tyres given you have brand new rears with more than double the trad depth, in addition to getting you geo sorted given the changes you have had done. For me, tyres getting down to 3mm are as low as I would want to go for wet conditions.......and the Zed has always been known to be sensitive to mismatched tyre wear, irrespective of different makes between front and rear axles.
