^^^^ Highly recommended - your issue has all the hallmarks of not getting to the cause and simply bolting on replacement bits, whatever their ranking maybe, will not address the underlying cause. Marcus is a skilled engineer who has sorted out meany members brake problems and is used by many dealers who otherwise scratch their heads.

Nice upgrade there Steve - enjoy!

Huge grip on the rear with decent tyres, low grip on the fronts with - its not surprising the TC has kicked in given you have done few hundred miles since the new tyres were fitted? Honestly and given what you have now told us, you ought to change those front ones ideally to compliment the rears - as it is not just your life on the line but others too and wet weather the issue will only get worse. Presuming that like most on here you like to give it some beans when the opportunity arises And then as I said above - get a wheel alignment done as the Zeds are are fussy about their under carriage being nicely in shape.

Advice needed - Someone hit car - no note left (photos in comments)
Ebized replied to Jblonde002's topic in 350Z General
Might be best to pm, in case he does not re-visit this page Nice offer by another member though and maybe you check the inside for damage and post pics to help with the repair quote . -
I won't let the cat out of the bag Andy

First check the tyre pressures. FREE! Second, put some more miles on the tyres - it maybe as they are new the protective gel coat has not been worn off And.... 4-wheel alignment - NOT FREE but essential checks for Zeds, especially after new tyres being fitted IMHO. At the same time ask for ABS/TCS to be checked.

More often than not from reports I have seen on here over 10 years, it is one of the seat backs has had a knock - often stuffing things down the back of the seat can cause the light to pop up. Sometimes it is the connector under the seat that has come apart. Good news the ignition fix has solved the problem

Get someone to hose water at the area while you are sitting in the car to see if you can trace the entry point.

So sorry for you - and sadly it will almost certainly be written off as we know all too well that rear impacts often crumble the boot floor. I guess there is front end damage too. Hopefully Admiral will get the best pay-out for you - if you have legal protection that might be useful in the event of a poor offer.

+1 And the 350's are notorious for water dropping inside if you have water on the roof and a window ajar and you are making a turn, all down to the lack of guttering or similar to deflect the water run-off.

OEM Windscreen replacement - The insurer won't cover all costs
Ebized replied to arif_manji's topic in Bodywork
Of more concern for me is the quality of the workmanship and ensuring the sensors are properly calibrated and work as OEM. Maybe the latter is not an issue for the 350's but is an increasing factor in the new cars being sold nowadays. But yes, the irony of insurance companies often charging extra for non OEM parts when we fit them but are not prepared to pay out for OEM when it suits them is a definite 'heads we win, tails you lose' scenario. -
As said above, get MPSS for all 4 corners and if there is any decent tread on the rear 'Stones, there is a good chance someone will be looking for a pair of 'stoney' rears given they wear out long before the fronts.......well at least they do for the majority of ZED owners So a form of cash-back for you Oh, and make a few more posts so you meet the 15 post minimum requirement to advertise those s/h tyres on here http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/215-370z-parts-for-sale/

Help a fellow 350z owner out and vote on my film!!!
Ebized replied to djtimo's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Nice vid - another vote from me -
I can't recall with my two 350's whether you heard a noise other than the catch disengaging - hopefully someone with a 350 can clarify? And maybe there is someone on here nearby to you in Walsall who could take a look

Love your write ups and pics - got me wondering how me & my little hatchback would be allowed to join in, if only as a support vehicle Mind you, in the wet in Wales twisties I might be pushing you along a bit

There is your answer, seeing you are in London and certainly not 600 miles away from Sly! (trader on here) http://kaizermotor.co.uk

Hope you are not grassing up anyone there Alex And yes we jump through endless hoops down here to get things done - not helped by not having a dedicated doctor - just take pot luck on who you get (excuse the pun )

Have you asked Zmanalex about cooling remidies, as I know that was an ongoing issue for him with his 650bhp+ roadster for some time on track but recall he had found ways to make it manageable? PM maybe? Nice write up and pics btw. EDIT: just found this for info ........if it is not something you have already http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/107937-de-to-hr-coolant-upgrade-35000-now-sold/

When I had the standard 18" Rays alloys although I could have maybe fitted slightly wider tyres on then that which were on it originally the benefits would have been so minimal it really wasn't worth it. When I changed the alloys on my 350Z to 19's from the standard 18's I had wider tyres then because the alloys themselves were wider (9.5J & 10.5J) so they required wider width tyres. I did benefit with more traction I'd say but the extra weight over the standard lighter forged alloys probably slowed the car down overall with a heavier corner weight on each corner. Good point didnt think about the added weight ill just get the standard size then carnt go wrong . fronts are 245/40 r19 and rears are 285/35 r19 Isn't that 275 on the rear? Yes. Simply changing to MPSS using the standard sizes (as wez370 has corrected) will transform the handling and grip, significantly for the better - no need to up the rear tyre size..............................IMHO
