Makes no sense to me for anyone buying a new diesel engined car as it is clear the s/h prices are going to drop like a stone, so..... It presents a good chance to, and increasingly over the coming years, to pick up a bargain..........providing the disencentives you can come to expect from Government (tax etc) don't make it uneconomic to run. But if the initial purchase price over a petrol engined equivilent makes more cash sense for the number of years you run it and bearing in mind it might be worth peanuts when you come to sell but you have allowed for tht then it sorts out your present transport problems, then in for a pound....? If it were me I would be looking for petrol powered.....simply because I hate diesels and particularly the older ones that unfortunately are the only ones that are likely to meet your £1500 budget.

Good luck with the sale - anyone interested in the car can take a look back on Sipar's posts to see his passion for the 370's and how he has looked after his cars. Mods done really do make it a special Nismo. Iirc, they are 3.5inches, having had the same exhaust on my 370.

Listening to the commentry in F1 first practice about the impact of the halo and its pros and cons, of far greater concern for the future of FI now is that given the (potential) ban on the sale fossil of fueled cars in 2040 in UK where the majority of F1 teams are based how soon before Mercedes, Ferrari, Honda, et al write off their involvement in F1. And move their development into Formula E...........that for me is far more or a turn off than what we currently have with F1? Surely that will happen now sooner rather than later - particuarly given the current costs of engine development that Honda have failed to get to grips with? F1, as we currently know it will simply become a classic style race series. Or will it fully embrace the the Duracell power? Thoughts?
