  1. Exactly, get it paintshielded. Cant see why you would use to go to and from meets either? wouldnt rubbing it down with a cloth when you get there be just as easy. Or trailer it there if its a show car only.
  2. Technosquare can do a relash for you, no probs. Thing is, a tune via this method isnt the best solution as it will have to be a off the shelf map, as it were. Also, the factory ECU is pretty low resolution, which isnt so much of a problem for N/A, but isnt the best for FI, where you need as much accuracy as possible. UTEC would be your best bet.
  3. Road use, and drag use are completely different things.
  4. If you think that, you are sadly mistaken. No clutch on road cars is made for drag racing.
  5. Depends on what you buy, as some parts arent available over here. Stuff is about 40% cheaper though.
  6. Never ever heard of any prop shafts going on this car, have you seen the thickness of it! Not saying it couldnt be killed, but its very sturdy.
  7. This car has only run turbo's, my last one was Vortech'd. I dont drag the car, and dont do standing starts, but the torque from the kit has obviously had an effect on the driveshafts. New ones are about twice as thick, and much sturdier. No chance of clicking, either.
  8. I know Sumo had issues with the driveshafts (halfshafts), going whilst drifting, didnt hear about the prop shaft. Not to say it couldnt go, drifting is just murder on a car. My driveshafts were showing serious signs of wear when they came out.
  9. What a totally inaccurate guide, its rubbish!
  10. I dont know how I managed to get a post in before Val locked it off mind you good job he didnt delete it
  11. Aye, you cant beat toys to play with!
  12. My car didnt cost anywhere near the price of a 911 turbo. I just like tinkering with cars, and to be honest, there isnt much on the road that has the performance to match my motor. Your either into messing with em or not.
  13. Thats more like it. Bit pricey for the new one, though.
  14. Id hardly call TVR well engineered. Depends how you tackle the project really.
  15. Your not going to reduce the compression by a headgasket alone. You can drop or raise it slightly by changing the head gasket, but nothing like what you need. The correct engineering solution is to change the pistons, not fudge it with gaskets.
  16. Im not your bitch, take it or leave it, you nob......................
  17. Get in there my son, let me know if you want any help.
  18. Sarnie's off on one now!!!! Goooowaaaan my son!
  19. See the title has changed to something less derogatory, the adults must have stepped in.
  20. A good point is made, so its quickly put down as 'rubbish'. Awaiting thread locking/deletion.
