  1. Hi Scott, have just got your email about 5 minutes ago, will email you back shortly
  2. I believe they are yes and yes you can swap them without touching the lines and needing to bleed them again.
  3. PM CS on here, he is a trader and can most probably help you out with what you seek.
  4. My condolences to you all at this time and such a great way to remember him and to help the people that helped at the end. Am happy to help such a great cause and will be buying some raffle tickets as well.

    .

Very nice setup you have there. Any thoughts on the coilovers now you have tested them out? Any more plans for any more weight saving?
  6. They should use a machine with rubber or plastic heads ad ideally plastic coated bars. If the operator knows what they are doing there is nothing wrong using metal ones but is safer to use rubber/plastic. They should ALWAYS change the valve at every tyre change as well unless you have metal valves installed.
  7. You can do it as I did it a couple of days ago Just unbolt the top of the light and it will pull forwards and up slightly, just enough to get your fingers/hand in and undo the bulb housing (turns anti-clockwise iirc) and pull it out the top. Swap the bulb then pop it back in the housing.
  8. South East London I expect. Am happy to offer my car up but probably won't be ready and painted for at least a month or so. Welcome to the club
  9. Saturday 20th June Chillis Hotrain69 Bullet Magnet ? Mr Lizard 3FiddyZ Andy Sunday 21st June Chillis Bullet Magnet ? I wouldn't mind popping up on the saturday to pick up some engine bolts and maybe a couple of other things if that's ok.
  10. You know i'm there mate! Give me a shout if you need a hand with anything.
  11. Haven't heard of it myself but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. I am constantly jump starting my Z at the moment so will keep an eye out for it next time I do it.
  12. You sure it wasn't just a low battery? The smell of fuel could just be there because you tried cranking it a few times. I'd get a meter on the battery and see what it's doing.
  13. Have had a good long look at the bodywork and what is needed.....a few things need to be looked at! - The rear arches constantly touch the new wheels due to incorrect fitting - Nearside rear arch has been reinforced with cardboard.....yes you did read that right - Rear bumper needs attention as it has a few dents - Front bumper needs to be re-aligned - Rear arches are at different heights - Front arches are fitted at different angles - The roof has a dead fly in the black paint.....yes, again, you read that right - Ings spoiler needs sealant all round it as the edge where it has been fitted it shoddy - Where the Veilside spoiler was taken off there are now dents in the bootlid All in all, not very happy!! Have decided to bin the current wide-arches and just start again from scratch with them. On a plus note, the mot is booked in for Friday morning and will leave the arches off for that so will see how it gets on and what else (if anything) needs attention. Am pretty confident it will pass though due to the last few days work on it.
  14. Does anyone know the bulb type used in the rear fog light as I need to purchase a red bulb or led rather urgently! Any suggestions of where I could pick one up from as well would be useful. Cheers
  15. Yesterday, I also got the door poppers working 100%. They were originally fine without the door cards on but when re-fitted there wasn't enough force in the solenoid to push the handle open so have had to modify the internal door handle as well but now they are all working rather nicely!! All the mechanics and service items are done now, so today and the next couple of days are going to be focused purely on the bodywork! More pictures to follow!
  16. Got the new HEL braided lines fitted yesterday along with bleeding the brakes and doing a brake fluid change using RBF600 fluid. Has made a huge difference!! The lines are very easy to fit, just removed the original bracket that holds the flexible line in place and fabricated a new bracket to hold the braided line, making sure the angles weren't too tight. Cheers to CS for the lines. Front Lines fitted Rear lines fitted
  17. Epic Paul!! Glad you got it all sorted in the end though mate! Have a good day!
  18. I went out for my mates birthday last night....my head now hurts and I think I remember some Sambuca appearing at some point during the night!
  19. What are you up to this weekend?? I'm mainly cracking on with the car and off to a friends birthday tonight!
