  1. Do what? The wrapping or the panel???
  2. If the door is unlocked then you need to pull on the cable. The metal end is connected to the cable which then goes into it's plastic housing. You need to hold the plastic housing and pull the metal bit. The door then "in theory" should pop open.
  3. The dog leg one is for the locking mechanism and the round one pops the door open. Just a thought, have you tried unlocking the door with the key in case the central locking has gone on that door?
  4. You have a PM mate & have replid to your other thread, let me know
  5. Can you get to the two cables that run from the door lock on the inside?? If you can, they should be hooked into plastic pieces where the internal door handle is. Both should be taught. The one with a ball on the end is to open the door and the one with a straight hook type end is for the locking mechanism. Maybe the cables have stretched & they may not work by just pulling the interior door handle. Is the interior door handle under tension??
  6. Rik had a full '04 interior up for grabs I believe
  7. Look good on the car, like the style
  8. No, just an unexpected £1,600+ bill for a new gearbox for the g/f's Leon.
  9. Got a few bits available after my recent clear out. Passenger side electric window switch £65 delivered Brand new and unused. Thought I had an issue with mine but turned out to be a loose connection in the car instead so never fitted. Retail at £120 at my local Nissan dealership. Part number 25411-CD7OD Veilside V3 style wide arch overfenders. £250 ono (Price dropped as I need these gone as need the space) Never been fitted as I ended up using other arches. Fibreglass moulded arches so will need some finishing and fibreglass work to get them to a perfect fit/finish but nothing a professional bodyshop couldn't do as part of a normal bodykit fitting procedure. Bride Subframes Price drop to £200 ono

  11. More posting this as I am wallowing in self pity but was wondering if anyone else has had any similar experiences?? My Mrs had a 2003 Mini Cooper S, the car was perfect and in the two years we had it, the only thing that needed to be done was a set of brake pads all round and your usual service items. However, we sold this as she needed a 5 door car, being a nanny, and as her mileage was increasing we wanted a diesel to also offset my two V6's. Soooo, we sold the Mini and bought a 2005 Leon tdi. Got the car checked out by a professional mechanic friend who gave it the green light and we got the price down as it was due a cambelt. Since we have had it, we have had nothing but bad luck with it, all 4 tyres have had to be replaced due to 2 punctures/splits, obviously we had the cambelt done. A couple of weeks ago, the flywheel let go even though there had been no signs of it going previously. That went in today for a new dual mass flywheel & clutch only to get a phonecall saying the input spline has a 10mm wobble, you need a new or reconned gearbox. Marvelous. Am off to inspect it myself shortly. Also add to that that there is a problem with the brakes which looks like sections of vacuum hosing need replacing and we have one seriously dead car!! The annoying thing is that I deem myself pretty handy with a spanner but all the things that have gone wrong with it are above my skill level so am having to pay out hand over fist for stuff. German (Spanish) reliability.....MY ARSE!!! Has anyone else kicked themselves over selling a good car and ending up with a lemon? Wallow over...back to work

    An odd request

The wheels above are in the final stages of design so the above is only a guide as to what the final design may be like. I should have some more images and size clarification in the coming weeks.

    An odd request

The BMW fitment is a 5x120 pcd and theZ is a 5x114.3 so not even a wobbly nut will make that fit. I do agree though, they are awesome wheels, my next door neighbour has them on his M3. We should be having these availble soon though which are similar.
  14. Sounds good mate, any idea of when it is going in?
  15. That was for a motorised one using USPS which I thought was good as well......his email back to me is below..... Andy, We can ship to the UK, no problem. It will go USPS International, and will probably take 7-10 days to arrive. You can either call us at the shop and place your order over the telephone, or paypal this e-mail address : info@swiftmotorsports.com Shipping to the UK is an additional $25usd, so your total will be $175usd, Dan

  17. I totally agree, I hate this sueing culture we seem to have adopted from the Americans. Sometimes **** happens and you just have to get on with it. Sorry you are having these hassles
