  1. Guys, If there are only 4-5 of us attending, I will duck out of this event. Especially as it is £25 per person on the day (I know the advanced fee is £18 pp). If we can get more to attend, however, count me in! Chris (Chesterfield) - are you going? Neil
  2. So what are we doing then guys? I only see 4 entries and including me (5), we are no where near the 15? Are we going as the 'genera public' and not having a stand? Neil
  3. 1. Chesterfield 2. Neil 3. Martinmac The speaker is 80 decibels. Decided that if the missus goes pssst at the right moment, it would be more impressive as she is louder than this
  4. Spoke to Jamie and added my name on the list (albeit on page 8 of this string). I am coming anyway so there may be a fight at the gates if they do not let me in after travelling over 100 miles to see you guys See you on Sunday bud. Neil
  5. Sorry for the late entry chaps, but is there any chance I can join you? If 'Yes...' Name: Neil, Forum Name: Neil: 350Z If 'No' I'll buy a Ford and join their forum instead Neil
  6. Thanks.. What is the 'J' of your rims mate? Are they 8.5J x 19" and 9.5J x 19"? Last question....promise
  7. At the moment I have 235/35-19 on the front and 265/30-19 on the back. I have been relialably informed by a few tyre manufacturer's that they are too small for the Alloy and gives incorrect information to the speedo and the TCS. I thought of the 255/35 and 285/35 to try and offer a little protection to the Alloys if I got a bit close to the kerb. I am not sure these will fit the 8.5J and 9.5J width though as the recommended sizes are 245/35 and 275/35 respectfully. This is why I asked what size you guys have on 19" Alloys. Thanks fatalus and beavis for your input
  8. Help It's a long story so I will not go in to why I am asking this question, needless to say, I appear to have tyres that are too small for the new Alloys I have recently purchased and I need to change them. I have 8.5 x 19" Front and 9.5 x 19" Rear Alloys (some of you have seen my new wheels ), and I need some advice on the correct tyre size please. The recommended sizes are 245/35-19 and 275/35-19, however, looking at the technical data, 255/35-19 and 285/35-19 seem to be a better option. What have you guys fitted? Thanks Neil
  9. We were on our way to Narbonne Beach (seen in the background) and saw this photo taking opportunity as we came over the top of the mountains. The 'wife' would no doubt thank you, if I knew who the hell she was and I could tell her
  10. if only eh Neil Shan't lower the rear now Mike as this is guaranteed to happen with age In fact, it's already started ! Hope she does not read this
  11. As it has been noted that it's a bit quiet around here at the moment. My excuse is because I am on holiday Thought I would show you some of the scenery around here, plus one of the wife Hope you enjoyed ?
  12. I have got condensation in one headlight on my 56 plate which will be replaced under warranty. When I asked the same question as you have above, the dealer told me that the bumper has to be removed completely as you cannot get to the fixing else. Sorry bud.. It's not that hard though - I have done it myself when I changed the side reflectors for white ones. There are around 10 screws underneath and two either side in the wheel arch, plus the clips on the top. It's a bit fiddly, but I managed to get at the fixings in the wheel arch without removing the wheels and simply turning them full lock from left to right etc.
  13. You have to remove the front bumper mate.
  14. Thanks Andy.. Yes mate, they are lightweight.
  15. If it's slight kerb damage...you may laugh, but I got the local 'chips away' guy out and he did an awesome job. They can only fix alloy though, not chrome etc. £40 and he came to my house. I was happy anyway Neil
  16. 20mm Liam? It's not a go kart mate Car with 3mm spacers all round (before you say...yes I know, I should lower the car now !). Took me ages to paint the 'Finichi' centre caps Hope this now meets with your approval sir ?
  17. Thanks Rob, Do you use the Jetseal 109 on your paintwork as well? I notice that the overview of this product suggests layering all of the car? Where do you buy this from mate? Neil
  18. +35 all round, Liam.. I can space them 3, 5 or 7mm, but at the moment, I have no spacers as they are wider then the 18" Rays and therfore sit further apart. Might try 3mm later in the week.
  19. Mate... That is very low. Think 20mm will be my maximum I think. Thanks for the advice.
  20. Thanks for the advice James, Coilovers do sound the best bet, but having just paid for the rims, I don't think the missus would be too pleased if I told her that I was gonna spend a further £1k and therefore she must go on the streets more often Springs seem the best bet at the moment perhaps. Have to be careful as the car is still under warranty and any given opportunity, the Nissan dealer will 'worm' out of issues by blaming the aftermarket kit, no doubt Right then......I'm off to buy some Autoglym
