  1. You need a set of these to complete that old-school-Porsche look... viewtopic.php?f=38&t=7969&hilit=+meister
  2. BHP isn't the issue. Its torque that destroys the rods Cant have one without the other... I've got tons of torque but not so much power.
  3. All the best for the op, Mark!

Has he just been told his new car is a 350z with a damd body kit on? And his "life partner" on the left has gouged his eye out in disgust!
  5. Its a long shot but maybe someone's wife, girlfriend, mum or hairdresser would be interested in my MX5... Its a 2002 1.8 Arizona with just under 45,000 miles on. Arizona spec brings you heated leather seats, Nardi wheel and leather gearknob - all black with silver stitching - style bar with wind deflector, Arizona mats, more speakers and most importantly an LSD. Its got a Cobalt stainless steel exhaust that's been on for a couple of months (looks quite big but is actually not much louder than stock, just deeper and richer in tone with no drone on motorways) and I've added clear reflectors/side repeaters. The wheels are Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's 16" with Toyo T1R's (205/45 IIRC) which have been on since Feb - I have the original Enkeis in 15" which need a proper refurb and have serviceable but not great tyres on. The bodywork's in good condition and there are no dents or parking dings. The hood is in good condition with no leaks. I've got stacks of service receipts etc from the previous owner. It was bought by me in Jan this year when I had no car but now I've got another daily driver my plans have changed. It was supplied by an MX5 specialist on the Wirral and the car is currently garaged in Liverpool. Its taxed and MOT'd until January 2010. I have some lowering springs and unused black spline drive lugs that I could throw in if the deal is right. I'm looking for £5500 with the black wheels or £5000 with the OEM rims back on. All girlie jokes aside, this is a fine handling little motor and deserves its place in EVO's top ten handling cars. PM me with any questions etc. I've locked this to stop it turning into a "have a pop at Digsy for his girlie motor" spam thread! PS My reg isn't included and it would revert to its original 02 plate.
  6. Sounds sensible before you spend money.
  7. All the best for a speedy recovery, mate!
  8. Glad I'm not the only one that thought that!
  9. Phil always recommended the KW Variant 3's.
  10. We're extremely grateful for the support shown in this thread from the members. We want people to be here because they love it, not just because its the only place to go. Thanks guys!
  11. Wow, rudeboy, 3 years and this is your first post! Welcome! I understand what you're saying. I suppose Nissan was never going to create the same buzz as they did when bringing the Zed brand back from the wilderness and hitting the bullseye first time with the looks and drive. Its a very different matter replacing a successful and critically acclaimed model, especially when the design is more polarising. I'll be interested to see if you get that buzz you're looking for from the others. The only one I've not driven is the Porsche but I found the BM and TTS too refined and grown up to give me that Zed-feeling. You may actually come out of this with your love for the 350 re-invigorated... Keep us updated.
  12. I think the fronts will stick out of the arches and look silly. I was running a 245/35 on 9" front with a +18 offset IIRC and on standard suspension they were right at the edge of the arch. However, I suspect you may want to run a stretched tyre, in which case I have no idea.

Indeed! Are you entering our show'n'shine comp?
  14. As far as I'm concerned its a 350z-uk.com meet and should go ahead with or without Macdaddy and any friends he brings from his site.
