Why should people want or need to overtake on a parade lap If people want to go faster there is tracktime available to go as fast as you want If anyone tries to overtake me in the parade lap I will come off the track at my first opertunity I.also hope that if the guys who are marshalling the event make it clear that if anyone does overtake for no good reason they would make that person leave the whole show

Remember there is also a drivers briefing prior to the actual parade to explain driving etiquet (I am a buider not a office worker so exscuse my spelling) and any one who dosn't go to that will not be allowed out on the track

To celebrate that we have arranged a Parade Lap at this year's JTS on Sunday 3rd June at Silverstone. The idea is to allow as many Zeds to parade around the circuit (up to 100mph) in formation, i.e. 240Z at the front all the way through to 350Z at the back. This will probably be the biggest cavalcade of classic Zeds seen for a very long time and is definitely worth seeing. The Parade Lap will take place at lunchtime and I've set the Z-Club the challenge of 108 cars to beat (this was the number of Skylines in last years National Skyline Meet). If they beat it we've promised to make a donation to charity as part of the fun on the day.
