In shop's now actually made the front cover! I don't know what they were thinking putting the 600hp figure on the front cover, that was taken very much out of context! Other than that its a great article. Thanks Kevin

Some reviews from the US from 350z owners who fitted this kit: """I just had a drift event on saturday and I was soooo suprised with the RS-R coilovers. I had them set 10 all around for daily driving and my girlfriend didnt even notice that I had coilovers installed The dampening is just awesome. I shortened the front shock body about an inch then the stocks and left the springs alone and I have 3 finger gaps on the fronts now. For those of you who would like to lower the fronts, I recommend to play around with springs and the shock body length. I was going to shorten the shock body by two inches originally, but I thought it was going to be too low so I only lowered it an inch and I regret it The rear of the car has two finger gaps right now. I didn't adjust the rear shock length yet and only lowered the springs about an inch. I say this is perfect height for going over the bumps and scratch their exhaust or bodykits. I am going to adjust the fronts to match the height. At the drift event, I set the front dampers on 18 and 25 on the rear. It was easy to adjust the fronts but as for the rear, I had to take the wheels and shock off. Although there are only three bolts to remove, this was a bit uncomfortable. I wish RS-R put the dampening adjuster somewhere on the bottom of the shocks. As for the driving feeling, I say this is the BEST coilover for the streets and occasional track events. I had ex-formula D driver Tony drive my car and he thought I had stock shocks & springs on. The ride was comfortable but with harder dampenings, the car gripped alot better and unnecessary body roll was gone. The car felt stable through drifts and didnt jump over the bumps. When I used to have AE86 with aggressive springs and shocks, I had to worry about keeping the drift everytime over the bumps but not with RSR coilovers on 350z. The common problems of stiff coilovers are the ride comfort and bottoming out. I've driven my friend's S-13 with K-sport coilovers installed and I had to worry about going over the bumps and pray that my back won't hurt. Also, I heard that nasty sound of bottoming out, almost everytime over the bumps. Again, RSR is freaking awesome The price range is about same as other coilovers like Tein, HKS and etc. I would recommend RS-R coilovers to almost everyone. You know you have a good set of coilovers when your girlfriend dont notice anything weird about your car."" Another happy customer said: RS*R Sports*i coilovers are definitely worth the every penny. After losing money on 2 previous spring/shock setups, I decided to step out on a limb and work and work my a$$ off to buy the new RS*R coilovers. My only regret is that I should have saved my money and bought these first. The adjustments on the dampers are so incredibly precise it's unreal. The valving technology is unlike anything I have ever experienced in the past. The car feels so planted and I am actually able to control my drifts better as well and ride them out longer. I have the dampers set on 18front/24 rears, which may be a bit stiff for normal street driving, but on a highway on ramp, the car is able to maintain increased speeds, whereas my old TanabeGF210/Konis would make me back off just a bit. Plus, the Koni dampers are junk compared to the RS*R's. With the polyurethane bushing on top of the rears, it just feels so solid. As far as daily driving, I would put these up to the HKS RS any time. These are the ultimate street setup PERIOD! I love you RS*R Thanks Kevin

RS*R just released their new coilover lineup for 2007, the Sports*i! Specs are as follows for the 350z: Front Spring Rate: 10kg Rear Spring Rate: 9kg 36 way adjustable dampening Recomended +15mm - -40mm drop over standard front and rear. Fully re-buildable and re-valveable MADE IN JAPAN! The coilover uses RS*R's Ti 2000 springs, made from a titanium composite material, which are lightweight but provides increased strength and durability. Featuring upper urethane mounts for street comfort, this is perfect for those who occasionally track their car but daily drive, especially on harsh roads. The 36 way adjustability give you a wide range of fine adjustment, so that you can get that perfect setting when on the streets or on the track. Quality is something you can see, perfectly machined aluminum perches + coilover cups. The Sports*i is a perfect coilover for those who want the performance, but want to eliminate some road noise and not get a teeth chattering experience everytime you drive. RS*R is one of the older players in this import scene from Japan, and not to mention very known for their lowering springs, so for them to put their stamp on it, you know you're paying for quality suspension with years of true R&D! On a side note, Manabu Orido helped to do the research & development that went into these coilovers. To those who are not aware of who he is, he is a well known driver in the Super GT / Super Taikyu / D1GP race series. For more background on him, please check out: http://www.orido.jp/profile/ This video is alos great: RS-R Drift Video Very refreshing to have someone with true race experience put in R&D input, rather than some factory worker who just assembles some knockoff coilovers

With out a doubt this is one of the nicest rear spoilers available for the Zed. This wing is both elegant and subtle in appearance while also being functional. It looks very BMW M6 like and adds a touch of class to the rear of your zed. I only have 2 of these in stock and they normally take 8 weeks to get a hold of these spoilers from Japan. So be quick to avoid disappointment! Priced at only £395 + Delivery As seen on Marks beautiful Zed: Thanks Kevin

Hi guys Just to let the Zed enthusiasts out there know that Banzai (due out on Thursday) will feature the Envy Zed on the cover. Please look out for it in your local newsagents Here was a little info on the shoot: Good news anyway the Zed has now been featured and despite the tight dead line should be featured in Decembers Banzai which I think come's out Mid November but I may be wrong. Anyone who has had their car featured before will know that these events normally take a whole day. Unfortunatly my photographer was late in Traffic so did not arrive till mid- day so battling the light the shoot went on until 7 O'clock to make sure the photographer got enough content for the article. I have been provisonally told the car will be Decembers cover car but I believe its going to be close run thing with one of our customers stunning blue Supra's as the main competition for the spot. So despite freezing to death on the shoot and moving the car into a hundred different positions during the day inch by inch, I am a proud "Z" owner! By the way the pictures were taken at a local cement works we were lucky to get access to, not great for the interior mats but should look good in the feature. Regards, Gaz.

Thanks for the review Simon and for the pics, really pleased your happy. We've got ours fitted on the Zed now and love it to bits. Regards, Gaz.

Pleased you like it, knew you would! Plenty more available at that price if anyone else is thiking about buying one. The Motordyne spacers will also be with us soon and will be selling at a very favorable price. Thanks Kevin

We are now holding the JWT Popchargers instock for the Z and will be offering them forsale at the unbelievably low price of £95 each. Unless you have had your head under a rock for the last 6 months you will know this is the induction system to have for the "Z"! Here is what JWT say on their website about the popcharger: 350Z 03+POP-CHARGER AIR FILTER W/HEAT SHIELD Produces a real 6.5+ hp increase at the wheels! Hood sealed heat shield insures outside air temperatures. This system consistently out performs extended piping systems on the 350Z without the risk of ingesting water due to remote filter positioning. Thanks Kevin

The intercooler is actually made by ARC so is of the highest quality, agreed however anything over 600 BHP you would probably have to make something up custom. Just added an HKS SSQV to mine for £200 including fitting, so no real biggy there. The pipes come in powdercoated silver which looks tidy but obviously chrome or polished would look nicer, but this is always something that can be done pretty cheaply before installing the kit. As you have said the manifold are now cast no very little chance of failure. The kit was very comprehesive and came with everything from the factory for the install down to every litlle nut bolt and washer. Should get mine on a dyno soon although as per usual dyno figures in the UK normally read a lot less than those in the US so I would already be at a disadvantage before strapping it down! Kevin

Hi Phil, thanks for coming up to Envy today, pleased you enjoyed your visit in particular the ride in the "Envy" Zed! Its nice to take someone out in it car to show how good the PE kit actuallly is, instead of me just telling people. Its also nice to inform those people who said it was not possible to succesfully run the car on the stock ECU. As you witnessed there was no hesitation, misfires or flat spots just nice usable power up to the red line with Zero lag! People may say well it only gives "x" amount of horse power for the money. What people don't actually realise is how that actually equates in terms of drivability. The car is just so much better to drive and fills in the areas in the power curve, that the N/A car lacks. It was interesting to note the coments you made on the PE kit V's the APS kit. Its nice to know it has more of a kick than so called higher horse powered z's with the APS kit fitted. I think this is due to the IHI dual bearing turbo's which come in lower down the RPM scale. When you think this kit works with the stock ECU on the earlier Import models, it represents good value for money and really is a true bolt on modification! You will have to pop back phil when I up the boost after fitting the sports cats and Y-Pipes. Thanks Kevin

Lol I still prefer mine! Mines faster than yours and my mam is bigger than your Dad! Kevin

Seriously considering buying a 350z

Hello and welcome. The Zed should/will be significantly cheaper than your Scooby to run, meaning you can spend the money you save on mods Regards, Gaz. -
Hi All, was a busy boy at the weekend. I removed the Intake Plenum and all the pipework on the Intake side to start my under engine bling. I had the Intake plenum mirror polished up. This is no easy job and takes a professional polisher hours of labour to get it looking this good. While the Plenum was been polished I took the oportunity to remove the plastic pipe housing the air flow meter and I had that painted silver to match the rest of the pipework. I also added an HKS SSQV BOV to the pipwork to get the nice "Psshhhh" sound when letting off the throttle while helping to prevent compressor stall. My final mod for the day was to fit a Cusco Front Strut Brace to the car which I must say is a substantial item that should really help stiffen the front up. I think this little lot has really brought the engine bay to life to match the rest of the car and I am really please with the results. Just need a polished P/S tank from Big Phil and the engine bay will just about be complete for now. Although over the winter I may be tempted to Chrome all the silver powder coated pipes for extra bling! I could also do with some bonnet lifters and a nice polished oil cap. Thanks Kevin

Thats a good one. The main difference is ours are fully stainless steel, whereas the Kinetix convertors are aluminized steel - so they will rust in the winter in salty UK conditions. Regards, Gaz.

Don't have exact weights for this size, I'd estimate around 12kg however. Gaz.

Hi Guys, I have a Esprit rear diffuser in stock and available for next day delivery. This is the same rear 1/2 bumper that is fitted to our own Envy demo 350z and is one of my personal favorite rear addons. The product is extremely well made and comes complete with a fitting kit for easy installation.
