  1. Top wheels. Same as I had but mine were gloss black. TBH I prefer the satin..
  2. I've been rumbled..... Tis mine though..
  3. Jeez...F1 drivers are so pampered. What about the GT cars and Le Mans. These guys race through the night... Dont they also get headlights? But the track ain't lit much so they need them. This night race will be lit up like a football pitch.
  4. Here's mine, (sorry crap picture)..

Keep us posted. Got you're email matey...
  7. Looks nice. Same colour as ours Good price for a 53. All the extras they list are standard on the Vogue BTW.
  8. Depends on what you are doing with the car. A diesel will always return better economy when towing. We do tow a big caravan and a horse trailer. When towing alot of weight we get around 18-19 mpg. A V8 would be more like 10 mpg. Also residuals can be a problem on a V8 Range Rover's when they get older.
  9. I guess it's supposed to favour the poorer teams, but clearly those with good engines in 2008 will be safe for 10 years, i.e. Ferrari, McLaren and probably BMW

Hi Rish, Lovely to hear from you.. Still got the Zed? I was considering allsorts to replace the Beamer, but always had a softspot for the Exige, especially now the "S" is out. Track days will probably be next spring now for me though. Drop me an email. I think you have it. Cheers K
  13. Our's is Adriatic Blue, which is very very dark blue. Looks black at night. Really nice colour and a bit different to black...
  14. My tip is get a Vogue whatever, preferably the Td6, (3.0d BMW engine). The Vogue spec is vastly better than an HSE and SE. Seats are higher back and adjust more, heated rear seats and separate air con, leather better, Sat Nav & ICE etc. We've also got TV in the dash screen. We looked at HSE's and Vogues. You will pay more for a Vogue though. Also, from 06 the car had a face lift. From this year the Td6 engine is replaced by the TDV8 3.6 diesel. Cracking engine. The Td6 engine is a bit underpowered in a 2.6 tonne car but it doesn't seem to matter in a car like this. Also, the engine is free revving and resonably quite when pushed. We've had all sorts of 4x4's and this is the "Best 4x4 By Far".....
  15. BTW fuel comsumption isn't good. We average 18 mpg most of the time, which is slow driving. On a mix run 22-23 mpg. It weights 2.6 tonne so you could say good considering.
  16. We've got an 04 Td6 Vogue. As you probably know a lot of the car is BMW so should prove to be pretty reliable. Well at least over the previous model. All electrics, ICE and Sat Nav etc. seem to be BMW as is the engine. The air suspension can be an issue but has been around for a while from the previous model so should be OK. Also think about servicing using specialst companies and not main dealers. As for buying, try the usual Autotrader etc. Pistonheads is a reasonable place to look too. Also eBay but I'd recommend vieing first. Good luck. You'll love it when you find one. Lot's of character and soooo big.
  17. All sorts really, anything from Astra's to 5 series Beamers and Range Rovers. Welcome from the UK BTW..
  18. Don't think the XDA Orbit is available on Vodafone though
  19. Fibreglass Barge? Granted it's fibreglass and aluminium foil, but It ain't that big. I reckon VFM a Scooby would be best performance car for thr Rozzers. 4WD, very compliant suspension etc.
  20. Yea just looking at Tom Tom. Only problem is cost for the Tom Tom software. May as weel buy a Tom Tom unit. Who says you need to buy it? Good point, I guess there's always Fleabay.. This seems OK for a Vodafone account http://www.vodafonebusinessshop.co.uk/D ... -1779.html

  22. Just looking at the Nokia offereing and you have to pay a subscription for full Sat Nav...
  23. Help.. Having only had basic phones for many years and having lost the BMW Sat Nav I was thinking of going for a Phone with GPRS and possibly a basic PDA which will sinc with my PC / Laptop. Any advice would really help. I would ask someone in a Vodafone shop if there was a chance they might know what they are talking about... I would like a phone that is : - 1. Bluetooth - A must 2. GPRS Sat Nav with at least UK delailed maps and route planning to use in a car. Speed Cameras would be a bonus. 3. Possibly a PDA with Calendar etc. Not really bothered about email as I have a 3g modem for my laptop, and not bothored about MP3's. Prefer an iPod. I'd also prefer a free phone or cheap. I'm on a large mins business tariff at the mo. I'm on Vodafone BTW. Thanks
  24. The lighter the car the easier over the bumps I guess. Same principal with MotoX Bikes. My Beamer was a nightmare on a set of speed bumps on my way to work each day.
