The Race Against Cancer - Celebrity/Racers Karting 25th Nov

There on the link. I believe they are £25 which seems a bit expensive but I guess it's for charity. -
I'd have no hesitation on recommending th setup I had. Tokico D-Spec struts, (not coilovers), and RS-R Ti2000 springs. This lowers the car by 15mm. D-Specs are the same as Nissan S-Tune, (Tokico make the standard and S-Tune for Nisssan), but the D-Spec's are fully adjustable..

Thats nonsense. Its not because the car is bigger that it is per-se safer. Check some crash test reports for that. So in an HGV is no safer than a small car? In an accident I know what I'd rather be in. Our 2 main cars are a 2.6 tonne Range Rover and a 900kg Exige. I know which I would rather be in in an accident.

They can have a lift anyday +1 Think they already have a Lambo.. -
This is a Celebrity and Race Stars Karting Charity event on Sunday 25th November at Rye House, Hoddesdon, Herts, just off the M25. There's a full days racing with all kinds of people involved such as racers Jason Plato , Rob Huff, Darran Turner and also female race stars such as Fiona Legatte, Laura Tillett. Also celebrities such as commentator Penny Mallory, Singer Sandi Thom and FHM Star Emily Scott. Now where do I come in. There will be a Supercar Village Display and yes I've volunteered the Lotus Exige to be on display for the day. In fact all Supercars will be escorting 1 or 2 drivers to the grid for the start of the feature race. I wonder who I'll get in my car. She...I mean they will have to be flexible to get in the Lotus.. Anyway, come on guys and gals, show your support for charity. This is to raise money for Cancer Research... Here's a few of the professional drviers...

Depending on how much you lower thhere will come a point where you need a camber kit. As for price, depends what you buy.

LoT Elise Trophy - Final Round Brands Hatch 10th & 11th

Hi Steve, A bit of a long journey for me so we are only going to the Sunday. I believe H5 is also just on for Sunday. Are you going now? Cheers -
That's a beaut. Love that colour.. I saw one when I was in Santa Monica parked next to the pier. Looks great in the Californian Sun. So that means it will look good in the UK 1 or 2 days a year..... It's called Mystic Maroon in the states I believe.

I'm going. Got my tickets yesterday. On touble is there's 4 of us and as it's a long way so seems crazy taking 2 cars...plus expensive. Where are you heading from? I'm not sure what to do, as I'm supposed to be at the dock meet in the evening. So is it the Zed or the Elise..... Elise..... We driving down from Derbyshire, so M1 & M25. About 170 miles so probably take the wife's car.. A shame but seems pointless taking 2 cars so far just to park in the Lotus reserved car park. I'm still looking forward to the day and hope to get to as many as possible next year.. Am thinking I may take the Zed as it'll probably be a quieter car park than the Lotus one!! Take the Lotus, you know you want to.. I'll PM you my mobile so we can meet up if you like and say 'ello? -

Why not? IMO driving the Elise with the roof off completely changes the experience. Have you driven open top cars before? It is just.....different. I can't putmy finger on it, but it just feels like you're getting so much more from the car. Maybe it's another assault on the senses, but I really enjoy it. I've had a few cabrio's to date. For me I like the top off for a leisurely drive in the country occasionally. This is mine below which since buying the Exige I'm gonna sell. I've had it 3 years and it's a beaut. Only 47k miles. In case you didn't know an early elise / MR2 really. Mid engine 1500cc rear drive. All came with a targa roof which fits in the front boot. I love it, so you can see why I went for an Exige... -

Needs a Stage 2 or 2ublar/Larini Exhaust. S/C sounds great int he car though... your next mod then Kev Don't think so. The car I test drove had a 2ubular and it sounded like a race car and I mean rediculously loud. The engine is so close in the Exige that any performance exhaust is going to sound loud. I'm sticking with the standard exhaust for now. At least you get the S/C whine which is quite addictive. First mod is Schroth Harnesses which are on order... Also looking for a soft top conversion for next summer.. Why didn't you get an Elise then Kev??? I prefer the Exige, both the looks and the specification, especially with the S/C, . Yea I know Lotus are making a S/C elise but with no intercooler. I will mainly use the Exige as a hard top in anycase but I would like the option for couple of weeks a year in the summer to go topless....wahey. Plus it also keeps the missus happy. A secondhand Elise soft top from eBay is the way to go. And you could've just bought the hardtop for the Elise! Surely having someone chop the roof off your Exige is going to be pricey! I know what you mean about looks etc, but by the time the roof has been chopped off it will look the same as an Elise with a hardtop! It bolts on same as an Elise. The owners manual says they can be driven with the roof off and you can buy the soft top conversion as a Lotus option. Many Exige owners do it. Nothing new. There you go. -

This is a power circuit, aka Silverstone so suits big power high top speed cars. The Exige neeeded more bends. Also a strange mix of cars to test. Apparently it's a Jap Car Mag and owners volunteer their car, (poor Lambo owners - sorry sir it broke).
