  1. Hard luck mate. MOT's are so easy to forget. Done it loads of times, but road tax.....
  2. I use the 10w-40 Silkolene Pro from Opie Oils. You'll find them in the forum discount section There's 2 Pro oils from Silkolene, Pro S and Pro R. Pro S is the best..
  3. Pray God you can cope. I stand outside this womans work, This womans world. Ooh, its hard on the man, Now his part is over. Now starts the craft of the father. I know you have a little life in you yet. I know you have a lot of strength left. I know you have a little life in you yet. I know you have a lot of strength left. I should be crying, but I just cant let it show. I should be hoping, but I cant stop thinking Of all the things I shouldve said, That I never said. All the things we shouldve done, That we never did. All the things I shouldve given, But I didnt. Oh, darling, make it go, Make it go away. Lyrics - Kate Bush - This Womans Work Seems somehow appropriate..
  4. I agree with that even although I had AF which I was happy enough with plus PS do a full bonnet option - which I would definitely have invested in at the time had it been available I've got the whole front clam done on mine..
  5. From what I remember you just select the club you are with and 350z-uk is one of them. I use Silkolene Pro S which is a fully esther based synthetic. In fact my cars in for an Oil service as we speak. This stuff exceeds the spec of the best quality oil Lotus specify.
  6. The Lotus guys like Ventureshield which I believe is cheap. I can only vouch for Paintshield though which is the best IMHO. I've had 3 cars done now with Paintshield. all applied by the guys in Grantham...

  8. One of these? http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/304390.htm Don't think that quite cuts it performance wise in comparison Never said it did...

  10. More than passing likeness to an Exige I would say.... http://www.hennesseyperformance.com/hen ... iauD&id=99

  12. I'd be happy with the charge cooler, ecu and injectors from the Exige GT3.. Oh and Cristina
  13. There you go. Less than a £1 http://www.mp3sugar.com/soundtracks-mov ... st-a25154/
  14. Thanks mate. They are Pro Bax, standard with the sports pack.. are they comfortable, Im abouts to purchase some bride seats Er...NO... They are race seats so have about 1/2 inch of padding and are very light. OK for short journeys and you get amazing feel from the car which is what the car is all about I guess, but the vibration can get a bit much on long journeys. Saying that I drove to London and back Friday, about 120 miles each way and felt fine. No comparison to say a soft seat in a Zed or my Bimmer for long journeys though.

  16. It was luck honest. I hate to think I know lots about Jezza...
  17. No they are 4 point but they take a fifth or sixth strap. Not easy to fit to the Lotus though.

    my old cars

Nope, can only pick up one at a time If this was true. You must have dropped her off already then. So what's wrong with the rest of the night. No staying power?...
  19. Bike helmets are OK.. I've got an HISL full face car helmet. It seems a bit wider around the opening for the visor. Also has a fire proof nomex lining. Can't remember the place I got mine from. You could try Demon Tweeks, Rally Design etc. or take up Tim's offer.
  20. About £350 the pair. I fitted them myself. These are the ones Lotus supply but charge alot more. Top quality harnesses with anti-submarine, whatever that is... Thanks, my reason for asking is that my son has an Elise and I thought I might get him some for his 40th birthday, are they OK for an Elise or just the Exige Speak to Malcolm at MSAR. He buys them to suit the Exige and Elise direct from Schroth so much cheaper than from a Lotus dealer. I was quoted around £750... See http://www.msar-safety.com You will need an Harness bar if you haven't got one. Mine's got the sports pack so standard. The harness bars are around £100. MSAR can supply these too. Depends on what type of seats as to which harness bar you need. If there are no slots you need an harness bar with bolt on fittings. If you have slots in the seats the harnessess just wrap round the bar. Also there are 2 types of buckle. The cheapest and ones Malcolm recommends are technically illegal as they have a twist buckle. I played safe and went with the push button as supplied by Lotus. Oh and they come in Red, Black and Blue. Speak to Malcom and he will explain all this.

  22. Pipes for the S/C intercooler. You can also see the roll bar and harness bar..
  23. Well for me really. Schroth Harnesses
  24. I think that's right. I remember the front or rear isn't adjustable. Think it's the front from when I fitted lowering springs. The rear sit's quite high as standard but the adjustment is only limited. If they are wearing bad claim on warranty..
