Got married in Henley, the green house right by the river. It has been top place. Shame Raymond Blanc place only had room for 45 people as would have been closer to home.

I would be very careful if they say they want to impound your car for some strange reason. Would make sure cops are called before handing anything over in case they are not legitimate.
-
just a T reg Astra 1.8 sport, 60k ish I think. Been parked on my drive for a couple of months as I only got it to cover me when Zed was in for new hub carrier. Should just bang it back on ebay. Not great but seems good for price, ideal as some ones first car.
-
Could have sold you a Astra for a grand, which I paid 2 for and only done 500 miles on it.
-
neither do I, but might drive the 03 down by £500 if there is a flood of 06's in show rooms. I would be using it as a bargaining chip if I was going to buy one now, therefore may help get it a little lower. Does anyone know what happened to the JP cars, surely they must have gone cheap.
-
If you can wait the new model will bump the second hand prices down slightly. If it turns out to be only 2-3 months then people will be trying to sell older 06 models before new 07 is released.
-
Looks like the date has been set and there is details being sent out to dealers. Release date is 1st May and have heard they are giving free sat Nav with 06 models to get ride of..... Will be dropping off mine tomorrow for P3 so will double check then. Steve

Now that his purchased has worked he has had to sell the car.......

This is a great friendly place to be and you sure will enjoy the car

Got a NEC plasma and cannot fault it.

Cannot say the best way as I only waited 5 years and she finally asked me, but one piece of advice that may still work. When I got married I told BA it was honeymoon flight and they bumped me to business class. told them about a 5 year wedding anniversary and they bumped me up again. Try calling them and explain you are looking to get engaged on the trip, do not ask for upgrade just ask for extra leg room etc. That way you get a great start for the hols and its sets everything up for the rest of the trip. Good luck with it all.

Please read this PM from Pathfinder in the OC
steve_b replied to Kev946's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Chris, The PM here does say private but over there they say personal. Still if he has something to hide, then up to him. Just wish the message was posted there too. Just looked at old pm and he is also not keen on people with learning problems.... "Fool wacko.gif If you had an extra brain cell you might just be regarded as 'below average intelligence' doh.gif" -

Gents, Just to prove it can be done safely, 311 Lotus cars at Brands which is smaller and narrower than Silverstone... http://pistonheads.com/lotus/default.asp?storyId=15790 and vid Just think of these being Zed's instead http://www.cannell.co.uk/LRA0107.htm -
This is a bit off....just watch out if going to Holland. http://pistonheads.com/speed/default.asp?storyId=15817

Kev, Just believe people in a position of power should know better, but there is always an exception to the rule. His time will come as it always does to people like him. The name change was a reference to him and his behave some 3 weeks ago, not me.....it is a low strength thread locker, and they took 2+ weeks to work it out. People like mark do have good intention and I have respect for him, but Fuker (who made interesting posts that revealed his true colors) and P1S are out of order. PS This time I do mean the spelling.
-
Just re-looked and does not seem he spends much time looking behind him in those mini wing mirrors
-
Kev, I had the exact same by the same person on the joint meet thread, think Sarnie posts have also gone. We is just a w@nker and I ignore him, he even got personal and attacked me on PM. Then he deleted the post I did of his PM due to his opinion is that PM stands for "PRIVATE" message not personal. He is just a freak with a little power which he constantly abuses. Best to just let it go with him, I must say some of the other Mods have seen sense and behave like adults.

What an awesome looking car. Would not do the exhaust mod myself but the rest looks great. The blended green-yellow engine is odd also.

Chaps Silverstone is a mega wide track. The most dangerous bit is the last corner as people put the power down too earlier otherwise its super wide and lots of room for those that want to do 100, you just let them go. See video of how wide. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZBBzjfc33M I will defo be up for it with one main rule....you can only overtake someone on the left with consent. That way you will always know where people are coming from. Also if there is lets say not too friendly ar5es from rival sites, with a point to prove they should be kept well apart. Too much talk from people that use "private roads" to race others, and say how fast they can go. I am sure the briefing will ensure they know why everyone is there and its to enjoy the day and see nice cars/people, not to prove how quick you can drive. -
I think that this place is great, with great people and very accepting of others views more than just "our cars better than everything else" I use the OC and think it is heavy against certain things which I do not need to go into as will not help this thread. However, I find both other clubs I belong too, the Lotus club (LoT) and the Caterham club (blatchat) just as friendly and as helpful as here, possibly a little more knowledgeable on the caterham one as they have people into the same car for 20-30 years and are well willing to help out. For the lotus boys they are typically with 200-300 trackdays under their belt and can be hyper competitive but always want to help out with driving advice. The big difference with those clubs are people have been around for ages and do not have an agenda. Newer clubs tend to have people that have a “causeâ€

Leave an open "wanted" post as seems a few people are going after market, just need to be sure it is one from recent car. -

Stew, Take it back to dealer. I got my changed after 2 years of skipping only because I had it in doing other warranty work. since then, it has not had one skip / jump so think they have now sorted the problem. -

Taken from a track club I am in, Euro trips - channel crossings/euro medical card E111 - Health Insurance Card If you visit main land Europe you will need a health insurance card to get non emergency medical treatment. Theres an on-line form that takes about 2 mins to complete and they send them out in a couple of days - so no reason not to have one!! https://www.ehic.org.uk/InternetPROD/home.do Channel crossings There are 3 real options:- Eurotunnel - to Calais (35 mins) If you are doing a same day or next day return Eurotunnel is by far the best option. Next or Same day returns are from £35 to £50 depending on how early you book and what time crossings you book. So if you're going out Sunday to return late Monday night ET is the best option. Longer returns can be booked for £120+ There is a frequent traveller option but if you want peak crossings it's a waste of time. http://www.eurotunnel.com Speed Ferries - to Boulonge sur Mer (50 mins) Speed Ferries offer return crossings from £38 return but it depends on when you book to get the best price. They also guarantee each way crossing for just £29 if you buy 10 at once - these are ideal for longer trips as you can have an unlimited return for just £58. SF go to Boulogne rather than Calais - this saves 20 mins if going to Abbeville, Le Mans or anywhere south of Calais but works the opposite way if going to Spa. The SF crossing only takes 50 mins, although the negative is they only have 1 boat so delays can stack up. http://www.speedferries.com Ferries to Calais & Dunkirk - P&O, Sea France & Norfolk Line There are plenty of crossing to head out any day and return when you wish from £50 (at time of posting). Crossings take longer than E/tunnel and Speed Ferries but do give you a chance to have a break and there are numerous crossing options. I find that the cheapest crossings for Ferries can be found on the following site:- ferrysavers.com - currently from £50 also direct with ferry companys http://www.poferries.com http://www.seafrance.com http://www.norfolkline.com/Norfolkline/ Telepeage if you're doing lots of Euro trips it's well worth signing up with Telepeage so that you can bypass the ques at peages as well as not have to lean over trying to hand a few euro's to the kiosk. For a 30 euro deposit and 2 euro's per month you get a device that you just flash at the barrier when going through peages and barrier opens - this also means you use the unmanned lanes with an orange T. you then just get debited from your UK bank account for the normal toll charges - theres no hidden costs.. https://www.sanef.com/fr/ecommerce/part ... Option=FTM click on un particulier on the above page. accepts uk debit card and address
