Tyres will only be a couple of mil and pads will depend on how you drive, but training is no where as bad as trackday for wear. Trackday is carrying lots of speed into corners and may lead to heavy braking, where as training will be more about how the car handles, when it is on the limit and what to do when it goes past that etc, not likely to be a big brakes thing. Just driving fast does nopt teach you anything, it is more about feeling what a car tells you than going from top end to zero ASAP.

Its all about being out with customers that day, only in the office 10-20% of the time, but if I am around will be sure to come.

Looks nice and did not know about chiping them outside of one put into an elise. How did it compare to the zed on performance, I know about the handling and experience is something many have commented on but would still like to know if it would out drag the Zed.

Simon, Real shame as car looked great, but as other said you can always get another one, as long as you came out of it okay. I have written off 2 cars and always a bummer, however when you get the new one you will never look back. Hope its sorted soon. Steve

Steve, Shameful marketing.....also did not expect and an Evil Machine (only joking) chap on here, thought you boys were all porkers. I work for an ISV, in the top 5 (market cap) so know both pre and post acquire. Just too even up, there is Zen and Virtual server, but yes VMWare is great stuff and I have many customers using masses of the stuff. Which vertical do you cove Steve + Northern Monkey. Also would like too understand why virtualise servers when people want applications virtualised. Might catch up with one of you at a show/confernece and you can convert me.

Gents, Strongly recommend looking at http://nurburgring.org.uk/carhire.html I have not used them before, however Grant (Boosted) did hire when they had the Alfa 75 company. This way you know the risk and the cost, then when you think you are comfortable take the ZED out. Just a way of testing how much you want to do it before taking a chance at total loss of uninsured Zed and big bill for arnco. Zedrush, no offence, just want to you have both side of a story, as there is 10+ people on here that are also over here.

All these are very close to me. Abingdon is just off the A34 15 miles south of Oxford, Hullavington is in Wilts and just off M4 near Chippenham jnt. Been to both and prefer Abingdon in Caterham, Hullavington has 2 longer straights which would be better for the Zed. (unless your name is Giles and you run out of track..... ) MSE are really good people and used them 5-6 times so worth every penny.

Try RJN as they had brake kits from the Jonathan Palmer / Bedford cars. They may have even refitted those and got the proper big brake kits.

I think the new Nismo kit is very different to yours. The new one changes the shape IMO as everything seems bigger, ie, wings, front and rear bumpers etc. He did not give me a price on that but said it is very low and would have issues going over the speed bumps in Reading. Lets hope NMGB get pics and prices on the site soon.

Well got my P3 done today and Reading dealer confirmed the 1st May release. They have take 3 orders so far and expect it to be approx £2k more expensive than the 06. He also said very few 06's left in stock, he has not had any for weeks. Does that mean its a good time to chop in an 06, do not know.
