  1. Yeap Walshy is still driving god, Randall doing very well. I know quite a few of them and Steve W is great as he is in class B (likely to be 50-100BHP between classes) also has an advandage by working on many of the other cars...no he would not really knobble them honest. Skeegsie is a nature also. If you want to go to any let me know, may go to Silverstone or Castle Combe is I can.
  2. to the place to be There is some knowledgeable boys on here and a couple of postWhores but still a great bunch. PS You have already joined the club, just get the car now.
  3. Gents, well worth watch if you like Lotus cars and amateur race series. Friday 18th May 8pm Sunday 20th May 11:15am Monday 21st Mat 1:30pm Tuesday 22nd May 1pm & 11:30pm Friday 25th May 1:30pm Motors TV (channel 413 on Sky). Then come to one of the races to see it close up. Steve
  4. Did post this before but shows why you do not get out the car if you have a crash anywhere on track (esp SPA). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQIhXrrk ... ed&search=
  5. Val have a look at http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/where_to_stay.html
  6. does not look bent so should be new clams. Remember the whole thing is just fibre so looks bad when cracked but there may be little damage underneath. Sorry for taking this off-topic by the way. Does anyone know the owner as there is an independent lotus dealer in Belgium.
  7. I think it only give below 5% increase in power, I am now not fussed what I fill up with. The speed of the car will always be down to driving style and the size of the gonads.
  8. Well done chap. Hope the salary works out for you. Does that mean we will see you name appear on credits at channel 340 sometime soon.
  9. As you may know I have seen it in the flesh and its much closer to the first pic, does not look yellow but more of a green tint if anything.
  10. That Aston looks great. I like the DTM look-a-like CLK, shame about the Exige (possibly Elise sports car) Was he okay as needs news clams around.
  11. The 7 does not do curbs so have to keep away from it on the left of the chicane. At Abbeville in 2 weeks, Criox on the 6 July and Le Mans 19 July. There is another Folembray 19th Aug but not booked that yet. Would you do it in the wet as the corner after long straight needs good bit of braking. Would not do it in the Zed.
  12. yeap, Folembray. Great little circuit in the dry, but looks like in the wet it may be too easy to hit the house right in the middle of the track. Do you know any others local, perhaps ones in Belgium. I have been to SPA (not drive it) but is there other small tracks near French border. Since doing the correction thing, should really say my house is in Pas de Calais and not really Nord, just meant up north.
  13. Sorry I am not great at English never mind French. the question was: in your avtar there is a pic of your car on a track/airfield. Just interested to see where it was and if close enough to visit one day. PS the Nord not really cold as UK, I am Scottish. PPS yes it even cost 15 euros each way on the A26/A2
  14. Angie welcome to the forum. Just back from the Nord (St. Omer ish). Where is the pic of your car from as just back from Abbeville, Croix-en-ternois and Folembury but do not know the shoot. Paris not my fav place as just got a 35 euro fine for parking at CDG terminal 2 on Friday night. Hope you enjoy the forum.
  15. I know of few used as daily drives. Depends on job really as I am in a suit and just would not work well if you also dress up like a monkey. If you are really interested in Exige then let me know and I may be able to get the history of the car..... Most are well know to the LoT or SELOC boys.
  16. Will be going the 14th and back on the 24th, should be at Le Mans 24. So if anyone wants a bed or can meet up would be good. Live 35 mins from Boulogne.
  17. I did ask about the wheels as had read somewhere they where getting the the RX8 type wheels. He was not sure and could be that since he was tracking it they put an old set of wheels on. These where identical to my rays. Will have to wait to see what everyone else gets in the UK.
  18. They are more pale grey not white (is in forecourt at 10pm with flash so they look paler in pic) but suit the car better than the orange or the black I have on my MY03. I could post one with me in it but just realised I have man-boobs.....so will not bother. Once they are in the showroom then worth having a look. Or you could go to the Ring tomorrow and see it in person and he did they they would be testing/reviewing the GTR which he says was really good.
  19. Chaps it is lot nicer than you would think. Still "in your face" colour but if I could have a second 350z I would now have it. I would also have the new leather now matter what colour was on the outside.
  20. Gents, Just back in the country on Sunday night via tunnel, stopped for petrol in the Maidstone service station and get out to fill up, behind me is a 2007 model in the funky new orange. Just got to have a closer look and seemed to recognise the Reg...L22 UST Turns out to be the press car drive by a Top Gear Mag journalist on his way to the Ring. Had a quick chat and he seemed a nice chap. So hopefully we will get a nice write up. PS The new Orange is far nicer than Sunset, bit like UY with the metallic flicks. The bonnet budge looks perfectly okay, certainly did not look out of place and may even be better than original.
  21. Certainly was not me who took it, but is great and there are hi-res available on the site. But the chap had it sorted quickly and made the second race, that was incredible.
  22. Welcome aboard, I am sure chesterfield will be along to explain why he went the other way, from R to coupe.
  23. me wants 300 BHP elise without the welsh art work.
