My car is covered for European travel (including Norway) through my company. I pay tax in the UK as I only work 4 days out of the country per week and return every weekend. My car will return on a regular basis (honest) A 350Z in Norway is around £70k So I will not be buying one.

I took off the fairlady and left on the old Z as you can use this as the set position for the 350. use the Hairdryer and dental floss then a little tee cut to remove the glue.

I was looking to do the same in Norway, and the options was re register the car and pay the import duty or take it and bring it back once per year and MOT, Tax it The import duty was 40% so option 2 was the only option.

No if you leave on the old Z the new 350 comes with a template from the Z.

I got my badge from the dealer £32, it has the Z with the 350 logo. It come with the correct spacing from the Z. Just remove the fairlady only and use the Z as a spacer. The badge comes off with dental floss and heat the glue with a hair dryer.

If you are fitting a flip screen, make sure it clears the gear stick !

Welcome Imported 350Z’s don’t come with an alarm or immobilizer as not required in Japan. The importer will have had (at the very least) fitted an immobilizer (UK requirement for the SVA test) could be a transponder type on your key ring. I had a Toad alarm that opens the doors and has a built in immobilizer fitted for around £280. (With reduction in insurance cost) The heater unit is on a dial so you say it doesn’t work when you turn it? If it was the AC then it could need regassing.

If you didn’t notice it when you purchased the car then I would say it’s just a straight forward repair. Follow the guide as the best repair is powder coated then painted as this is the process used on the original wheels. Also make sure they can match the colour of your other wheels or get the rear painted at the same time (one side)

I had the same problem a few weeks ago and it was the fog light switch (left on) that was fitted for SVA test pulling amps but not lighting when engine turned off.

No they wont the front and rear on your Zed are different sizes (rear wider) with wrong offset and hole centers Zeds are 114.3 not 108 (ford fit)
