  1. mate I have no will to sell the Z so it's a very long term project. £20k is debatable, for the route I'll take, when I take it, but that's a story for some other time Once the car is paid off then I can start saving for FI done properly and get a runabout for everyday driving. I don't see me selling the Z anytime soon, hence I don't think of it as money being in it. I'm not sure Giles has actually had the car off the road for the whole year, maybe it's been on-off. Again afaik it's his toy and he doesn't drive it daily, so he's probably not bothered. Plus, being the OC chairman, surely pride comes into the equation? (ie modded it, FId, blown up, rebuilt instead of giving up and cut your losses ) Plus, as I said if he can afford it, why not.
  2. yeah i got them done via Ming's. PM him to request a special club price
  3. he has posted over on the Z club where he's trying to get some members over there to his SE meet (which was originally supposed to be the Jojnt meet, the story is getting better every passing day ) I've directed him on this thread, see if he comes here explaining his behaviour
  4. car's too filthy, if I remember I'll do them tomorrow
  5. whoever is interested, better confirm quickly with their choices here: http://www.zclub.net/forum/showthread.p ... #post77995 Chris I have confirmed you already for the dinner, please confirm or otherwise on the Z club thread for the karting
  6. not sarcastic??????? your reply with question marks could be interpreted as if you really didn't understand what I meant with my post! wtf guys, I offered a free bottle of Autoglym stuff and you read weird wrong stuff in my post????? Not giving it away anymore, **** it, it's going in the bin instead Haven't used it for ages, and not going back to it, too much powder leftovers and takes ages to finish.
  7. the bumper, yeah, £200 second hand. Need some TLC though, not just a respray
  8. just the bumper. Kept the other bits of the speed-racing kit
  9. Nismo V1 bumper now fitting properly. Took quite a bit of hard work, so much for great Nismo fitting quality Hopefully tomorrow I'll trial fit the bonnet, wash the car, and put the skirts back on... finally Also finished my boot revamp, but those pics will wait
  10. if you try and do it yourself, give yourself plenty of time... and DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE NUTS! if you crack the plastic on the plenum you are f@cked
  11. lhd too, not much of a market in this country for it. I had a ride in Vestitas's brother non GT one, and it did shift, although the suspensions was a bit wobbly
  12. yeah a butchered std one. He got it free IIRC from steve-b
  13. I say **** it, let's join in!
  14. well mine is not a concern mate, I'm not the one who started backing off. I'm still 110% in, and really looking forward to it.
  15. well that would be valid for any heavily modified car, really. Actually I admire his efforts (and his deep pockets! )
  16. there's a member in the Italian forum with that kit on, it's hard to get details out of him though Still std internals too.
  17. yeah sure as if.... lomoto is it me or you are becoming a grumpy old man? mine was a tongue in cheek comment, ffs. But I guess you would take it seriously, wouldn't you?
  18. Imagine the discussion we had the other day about wheels ever happening over there?
  19. that's what I've been saying since these concerns were aired, why on earth would you be wanting to go fast???? it's not a trackday, it's a parade lap!
  20. V1 JDM and V1 US skirts are different. Moslty V1 JDM on UK cars (unless like Giles you import them from the US)
