  1. it's all about priorities. I prioritise and am happy to spend on things I rate most important, with the money saved through the bargains I buy that have lowest priority another example could be an oil catch can, or say an oil cooler. I wouldn't spend £xxx on branded stuff like Stille, ARC, HKS and so on when I can find all the info in order to make myself a perfectly functional one and save £XXX Sarnie.... you are not a multi spoke man... hmmm give us the brand at least although I'm quite sure it's Volk
  2. I actually purchased this through Simon @ Opieoils
  3. thanks for the offer mate, but I'm sorted with B&Q's own 1 L SAE 30.
  4. your loss I love Lidl and Aldi's bargains Picked up all sorts of tools with 3yrs warranty from Aldi, all working perfectly. Latest being an air compressor, airbrush, spray gun, inflating tools, impact wrench and air ratchet for less that £100 :teeth:
  5. SF Challenges in Gm grey
  6. actually Lidl are doing a nice full helmet for about £25! just received it in the bi-weekly mailshot! bargain if you use it once or twice a year! http://www.lidl.co.uk/uk/home.nsf/pages ... Helmet.ar7
  7. curious to see what they are now B)B)
  8. good to know mate, probably the ECM hadn't had time to adjust to the lower RON of the new petrol you put in
  9. thank God a proper set of wheels on a Zed, once in a while :teeth:
  10. yeah they are thinking of a Lexan one!
  11. only got 1 helmet and I'm using it as well
  12. come on show us those cheapo wheels you bought Liam
  13. I am going to try Amsoil this time. 5W 30 Cheaper than Motul too PS normally I like having some extra oil in buying the Motul, as I need to top up. Basically, assuming they put in exactly 4.7L at the previous service, I've used nearly all the leftover to top up, so my car does use a bit of oil, although ~1L in 9k miles is acceptable imo. (and according to Nissan)
  14. read page 10 onwards of the thread I posted at the beginning, Tom from Motordyne (the guys who make the spacers) had a passenger ride in it, apparently there was so much torque the windscreen was creaking and flexing like mad! awesome stuff
  15. when they stop putting salt on the roads
  16. I'd rather wear a chicken suit all day than driving a custard car
  17. ouch! poor fluffy rabbit if you have close encounters to animals, like you mentioned, I'd stick with a lip, as a fibreglass bumper is going to get shattered in such occasion mate. Alternatively, if you find a plastic bumper like the Aerosync one, would be much better
  18. to use Amsoil SAE30 Oil on my new air compressor? seriously though, isn't SAE30 the oil to use on petrol lawnmowers and the like? Up to now I've only found the Amsoil one, and minimum 5L! any suggestions?
  19. think the above is nearly correct, in bold my additions
  20. careful as this was a discussion point on here a while back, there's quite a few different codes for the driver aids, traction control, esp, vdc and possibly another one which i can't remember. Lomoto did a little research into this in that thread, tim, you remember where it was?
  21. a quick search on here will give you all the trims too. PS the models I deleted are not going to be the ones you are looking for
  22. Dave from Lockwood and Greenwood delivered again: £200 all in for a P3 (supplying my own oil) Only extra item to be done is the antifreeze drain/change which is an additional item not included in the service (and doesn't look to complicated either could have done it myself but feeling lazy) for an extra £52, which I'm going to go for, since it's due after 36k miles No other fluid change needed (LSD, gearbox) and considering the price of the Amsoil stuff I wanted to go for, it can wait.... All booked for Wednesday
