  1. that didn't take long, did it?
  2. requires a little thought for installing them if they are similar to mine (ie use the hairdryer to warm the vinyl up and stretch it). Hence why prob Sarnie had no idea on how to fit them
  3. if you find the re040 quick wearing..... you are gonna struggle finding a replacement imo. I still have the original set (admittedly the rears will be changed next autumn, 4mm left on the fronts) although I do have a nother set of wheels/tyres for the summer, still definitely iro 20k miles on the re040
  4. so those guys go to the ring, end up smashing their BM... well done you guys! thorough preparation I see

10,5 should be fine with the right offset mate. I have 10 but with an aggressive offset and they just about stay inside the arches
  8. do you really think the wheels (like anything else on the car) do not flex at all when driving? Even more so if they are a set of cast wheels, which are not particularly strong? If they are a set of cheapos (heard of SSR in the US forums, don't think they are a particularly expensive brand but not sure) fair enough, spray them yourself, why not.

tell the biatch to ring me back ffs, I need new rears!
  10. listen to you, mr Sticker guy look good to me
  11. believe what you want mate but with the Z's torque & weight, the rear wheels' paint WILL flake if you drive it on a daily basis and how it's supposed to be driven . PS the guys that Liam has used can do it professionally for all 4 wheels for what, £70 each? and that's not powdercoated, that's properly done. Powdercoated should be even cheaper.
  12. TBH I wouldn't even try doing them myself on a daily driven car, they would flake in a heartbeat mate.... may be ok for lomoto's car which has done about 3miles since he bought it... but if you drive it daily, I bet you it won't last long.
  13. tbh unless you have an extremely small head (ie small brain ) I dare you to check the rear brake pads with the wheels on
  14. don't listen to him, brake lights are perfectly visible with tinted rear lights I like them a lot and got them on my car don't know about legislation tbh, will let you know after my MOT
  15. PM Ming on here (Emperor Ming is his Nickname) and he can get them powdercoated for a reasonable amount of money. He did my std 6 spoke alloys and the reults are very good. Look in my gallery for pics. Post a pic of the wheels, might not be suitable for powdercoating. Otherwise, use the guys in Liverpool that Liam'sZ has used, again they did a great job on his Volks GT-C PS WRONG forum, moved
  16. take the wheel off and check them they also have a metal pin which will start making A LOT of noise if you have them completely worn down, so you'll hear them. Have a look at the Brembos, very easy to change the pads. I think there should be a guide somewhere, definitely on tech, in the wiki section.
  17. breakdown cover is better found via Autoaid. £32 a year and that's for any car you drive and if you are married it's for both
  18. a third passenger has been fitted successfully at least twice! once in the back, and once in the passenger seat. Not by me I hasten to add
  19. won't be a 100% perfect fit, you'll have to do a little sanding yourself etc (I know I've had 2 sets ) but in the end it comes out nice
  20. there's 2 1/2 months to go mate! no worries we'll beat them
  21. just attach the pics you want to the post, easy enough mate
