  1. isn't this the same weekend as Modified Nationals? I'll be there was too far from me anyway
  2. I'm a member of the Z club unfortunately the 350Z owners presence there is a bit scarce PS this one sounds good!
  3. nice one mate! I can answer the questions for you i think: the rear wiper doesn't fold upwards unfortunately blue dots: i think they are some quality marks when the wheels were checked upon production, think they used to be grey on older models (or maybe those grey ones were related to when the wheels were painted at the factory) the blue dot would annoy me too tbh
  4. didn't manage to convince her in the end and went to the Lakes
  5. got the tickets guys: bad news as on saturday we need to be in by 8:30am on Saturday, so it will mean an early departure from Manchester.... AndyC want to convoy then? Debbie is off for the wekend so she'll join us, but will have to drive down with us in the Yaris as I'll stay over in Birmingham on Sunday night as I'm there in the morning for work anyway. We'll probably have to leave at about 6am.... Nick where are we going to meet?
  6. mind you if you are wearing a shark suit, you deserve this and worse!
  7. dash: biggish job, but I've seen people do it in the US: you have to dismantle the lot then change the "plastic film" that covers the dials with one that has a blue tint to it
  8. you lucky sod, enjoy your holidays mate
  9. have a nose here http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/wheels/index/index.html
  10. I have the IPOD and the dension ice link FM which is quite good indeed. overall volume is lower than the CD or radio, but cranked up to 20 is loud enough and music quality is still good, albeit not CD quality. That unit seems cool because of the little screen for dvd's etc for what I'm intereste din
  11. I fit a set of 18" wheels in one trip, and a set of tyres to fit them in another trip. Not possible to do them all in one trip, even if mounted already afaik
  12. for the "rougher" parts it might be it just needs buffing mate, with a proper tool and some G3 then G10, you should be ok then hopefully

    My Zed

Kuros uh? nice one, now hope you don't live in one of those areas with a hosepipe ban
  14. IIRC they are the Nezart from WORK. good stuff, but if you get them in the UK be prepared to pay top ££££ for them and wait for 3 months (but that's the same case as if you got them from the US as all WORK wheels are basically custom) PS don't think they are Kev's, although similar
  15. Success! righty oh, here's the DIY guide all bigger size pictures are here: http://www.350z-uk.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=69 what you'll need: let's start then! disconnect both battery cables let's start dismantling the centre console! take off the rubber mat in the centre cubby hole and unscrew the 2 screws you just uncovered then lift the plastic cover as indicated then lift the gear lever surround detach the aircon cable from the back of the surround unscrew these 6 screws you see here: (note 2 on the bottom left side are missing as I took them off already) unscrew these 2 other screws: lift centre console top part with a fairly strong pull before taking off the centre console, make sure you sit on the driver's seat, and unplug this connector, and also release it from the little hook that keeps the wire of the connector close to the centre console finally pull the console away, but not completely as you have to unplug the radio connectors unplug all these connectors get the connector shown in the picture and splice the white cable with blue streak and the pink cable with black streak attach the cable splice to the red cable from the ICE link, and the white/blue from the radio connector attach the pink/black cable from the radio connector to the purple cable on the ICE link via the cable splice the black cable from the ICE link needs to be grounded, I just put it onto the chassis attach the ICE LINK box with the cable tie provided to the plastic frame as shown finally route the cradle cable where you find it best (some people put it in the little cubbly hole, some other put it where the phone cradle is, I put it just below the vent et voila' IPOD connected to frequency 88.00mhz sound quality is good, not CD quality but still quite good even at high volumes, all in all a worthwhile purchase!
  16. from them directly, very nice chaps www.kinetixracing.com PS check out their deal with the plenum.... you don't want to have to pay twice shipping later on
  17. that'd be fun considering I did request to be put somewhere separate to avoid incidents you never know what people with a grudge are capable of
  18. that HU looks quite good! I like the little screen on it ! let me know how you get on with it mate, if you need any harnesses etc
  19. the exhaust is cat-back, and gives a very nice sound indeed. You don't NEED to change anything else if you don't want to, the hi flow cats will make it even louder and slightly raspy. Some people said Nismo+hi flow cats = too loud for them, I personally like it! Val ...I have a MillteK system fitted, its a bit quiet do you have same system on yours ? and also have you the decat pipes fitted as well??as this should make mine a bit raspier agree the Milltek on its own is deep, quiter compared to the Nismo, but not quieter than stock. I've added Kinetix Hi-flow cats and now it sounds awesome
