  1. you are just making too wide statements. You can't say you can get a TWIN TURBO for £5k installed because you can't, in the UK. PS the HKS Rotrex SC was discontinued months ago if not longer, TDi need to update their website Oh and those prices I would think are excl. labour

  3. oops when I saw the bike engine I thought it was a kit car, bloody hell proper race car mate! wish i had the money
  4. Hey thats a good idea.. but i heard u only need an uprated clutch if you got huge power increases...such as supercharger or TT installed. not strictly true mate, all depends on your driving style and what you do with the Z.. Ask D2ONNY on here.... about his stock clutch and how long it lasted and Stew.... you are correct
  5. wow awesome package!!! I have no idea about kit cars mate, give us some numbers!
  6. yes, Zelda will be 3 tomorrow. The first MOT was done at Donny's recommended Tuners (who handily are also MOT Testers) and she passed it with no problems. Would also like to say that the atmosphere at MVS is very relaxed and although Tim (the boss) wasn't there (he'd gone to Santa Pod for the weekend... fool! It's gonna rain! ) I had a good chat with the 2 lads (whom I asked for their name and promptly forgot sorry!) Also, perfect place for people with lowered Zeds! Only downside was the 100 miles roundtrip to Holiwell, North Wales but I wanted to go as I have been struggling to find interested, reliable Tuners in the NW and will need to make contacts for the future. PS Donny's got a new flywheel/clutch combo and a set of MOMO's 19".... where has he gone??
  7. I'd love to see where you can get a TT kit installed for £5k mate
  8. that's because you are wrong. As a rule of thumb, add 25% to the total price, incl. shipping and you'll be as close as possible to what you'll really pay. (and if you pay say 20% instead because they messed up the calculations in Customs, which happens regularly) you'll be quids in )
  9. make that 25% between duty and VAT mate (and don't forget it's an the whole value, including shipping), and you won't be far off
  10. as I said the heading of the columns have not been copied across in the file while datalogging. I know the leftmost column reading is RPMs, as I remember that heading, and the column that says "rich" is the AFR which is calculated internally by the UTEC. Unfortunately i haven't got time right now to datalog and play more as I have to do some coursework so you'll learn some other time you guys want to learn... do as I do and study the UTEC manual. Available to download from www.turboxs.com
  11. you don't have to change the clutch first, but why would you want to pay labour charges twice? considering it's a transmission out job too
  12. the beauty of diamond cut lips is that they are so easy to repair and anyone can do it, making it look like new!
  13. wait till you kerb them... I nearly left Debbie on the side of the Italian motorway since I had got too close to the HUGE concrete kerbs of the toll booth so that she didn't have to get out of the car to get the ticket.....see what happens when you want to be nice to people I nearly cried

    recalls?

can't remember exactly the issue, will be on the Nissanhelp website mate
  15. you shouldn't need it so soon though mate... if you wash the car frequently also it'll be overkill, and always test it on a very small part of the lip.... just to make sure
  16. old video. That's a VQ35 although heavily modified and complete drag setup.
  17. gains will be same as every other APS TT kit on std internals mate, 400~hp ish and 400lbs torque
  18. not my fault if you are clueless about engine mapping there's 6 types of datalogging in the UTEC, as I sd I just installed it, set it on map 0 and messed around a bit. Will get round to post other datalogs, which will be no use to you anyway
  19. Just finished putting the UTEC in my car, finally. Done the first test of datalogging from standing still, and just revving the car up. Results are in the .xls file Don't understand much of tuning, but the word "rich" seems rather self explanatory this was on map 0 i.e. ECU controlling everything. Now to find someone who can help me tuning the US maps from Japtrix.... Just noticed it doesn't include the headings... first left is RPM, others I can't remember, will post later
  20. Louis can you send me a disc with all the videos you have made of the Z and meets please? (same for Beavis, and Chris) (if I don't do it noone seems bothered enough to... WE NEED A PROMO DVD FOR JAE! ) ta
  21. isn't the immobilizer that's cat 1 anyway? and that's nissan's NATS system iirc. never heard of it having to be serviced tbh.
