  1. no leads mate maybe the usual big car hire companies might do?
  2. Neil, I guess you'll need to talk about number re. discount
  3. been there to see Pete & Co. today. to be very honest, the workshop doesn't really give the best impression when you get in. That wouldn't bother me in the slightest if I got a perfect service, though. Stephen care to share your horror stories??? Anyway, that's what Pete can offer us, all EXCLUSIVE of VAT and at today's exchange rate: UTEC: £650 to the public and map switch £50 (he sd he did the pricing for the net when the dollar was stronger) Group buy: 1-4 5-9 10+ Price £580 £460 £350 map switch £45 £35 £25 Pete said he's not bothered whether we get our UTECs somewhere else (ie Sharif or anywhere else in the US) but of course he won't "service them" ie if we get a duff one we have to send it back to the US. If we got the UTECs from him of course he'd honour warranty himself. For your info one of the 2 Italian ones is apparently giving issues to the owner where the MAF sensor voltage reads max voltage with the car switched off. Tuning: Pete is prepared to just tune them and his fees are (all PLUS VAT): 1 hr £100 for 4 hours or over he can discount it: 4hr £350 and 8hr £650 This would be for tuning and install of course. He estimated about 2 hours per car. The Italian tuner took 4 hours. Pete also admitted he hasn't seen the software yet or how difficult the installation could be, nor he's had any specific tuning training from Jermaine & Co. He does tune all sorts of other EMS though. I personally don't really know what to do. In all honesty, he didn't inspire me the greatest confidence, despite all my goodwill and having waited to speak to him for about an hour +. (partially my fault as I turned up unexpected) This whole EMS issue is really doing my head in guys

  17. http://www.totb.co.uk/home/ been to one of these a couple of years ago, very entertaining! "Redline TOTB 5 will take place on July 30th 2006 at Elvington airfield. Spectator tickets are available from the totb shop until mid July at the special advance price of just £15 per adult.(then £20 per adult on the day). Children under 16 go free if accompanied by parent/guardian. Ten of the Best (TOTB) is a performance road car event, aimed at finding the best allround car in Europe. Handling, top speed and the 1/4m drag strip are used to determine the outcome. All the cars that compete are road legal, taxed, tested and insured. Many of the cars are modified, some to the extreme. Many of the entrants have built and modified their own vehicles, while others represent the cream of the crop from the Tuners and Garages that specialise in the type of cars we see competing. Points are awarded in each of the three events overall, making it extremely difficult to score points in all events unless the car and driver are on top form on the day! Individual classes are also used to determine class trophies, for FWD (front wheel drive), RWD (rear wheel drive) and 4WD (four wheel drive). The teams who take part are also battling it out for the TOTB team Trophy, a highly contested piece of silverware. Ten of the Best brings together modern high tech/high spec cars along with high power retro classics, giving all a chance to show their prowess on the day. Entrants come from most of the UK and European car clubs and groups, along with individual entries and invited Tuner cars. Browse the site to find out more about previous events, the cars and the winners! For 2006 the event takes place on Sunday 30th July at Elvington Airfield nr York. You can also order tickets or dvds via our orderline on 0207 6240319 (with answerphone) We accept all major credit/debit cards. " [/img]

  19. you'll need to have a look @ a Z with brembos mate The brembos are helb by 2 bolts on the inside of the wheelarch, they need to be in the same place as the oem jdm caliper bolts for them to fit! also, brake lines might have to be changed, as I know non-brembo ones are different
