  1. what a fantastic job! he charged us ONLY £60 for all our dents, each! In hte ned only Digly and myself got ours sorted as Liam's gf' KA was too battered and will need a bodyshop Results a re stunning, no pics though sorry! bonnet was the most difficult as aluminium doesn't have a memory apprently! so guys don't get dents on your bonnet Nice to meet you lot again, and Liam thanks a lot for the help on the brake work although we haven't managed to finish it yet
  2. Fortunately its only about 40 for me Unfortunately I can't make it u not coming now?
  3. 10 that's my unilateral decision though
  4. yeah you have to although in fairness he did register with us in March

    Tracking

yeah but ask for price (don't mention discounts first) then tell em it's gonna be 3 or more of us and expect group discount
  6. is it you selling them then? the part numbers the guy's posted don't seem to correspond to anything on the KW website...
  7. what the cornershop? but not maporama or the tomtom
  8. directions to where Liam? as I said, M 6 south, then off at J15, take the A500 for a bit then follow the A50 towards uttoxeter, but basically all the way through until the end of the A50, meeting the M1, I would guess we can meet Chris @ Donny services, which are off the roundabout that also connects the A50 to the M1, so it's very on the way.
  9. ok looks like we make it shorter by about 2 miles actually going M6 south, A500-50, then some other Aroad to get to the last bit of A1. So i guess we can try that one if everyone agrees. so Lymm services sounds good
  10. ah well only going to watch Superman tonight anyway
  11. what do you mean? TomTom suggests A1 too btw. To get to the A50 you need to go about 50 miles of M6 though, and on a friday night it's bound to be busy, ok not as busy as M6 North, but still... been doing it for months now (going north) and on a friday it's always a nightmare!. A50 is relatively empty most of the peak times I've been going on it, just wondering if we make it MUCH longer Miles wise than way

    Tyres

instead of bloody tyres that last 1000000000 miles, they should ahve made clutches or even gearboxes that last that long
  13. we haven't made any assumption also doesn't matter as Liam needs to come to mine anyway for the brakes jobbie so yeah fair enough Digsy'll go last
  14. ok maporama suggests M60-62 then A1 guys from manchetser, and still it's about 252 km! so definitely over 2.5 hrs to ge there! going to get the tomtom and see what it says instead
  15. M6 then J16 and take the A500 / A50 then we get to donington serivces from the A50, (where we could meet Chris ) where's peterborough? sooo lazy I'll have to check on maporama
  16. on the pic called "front wheel" how on earth did you damage the spokes?? I could refurb the kerb damaged one as long as the dish is not chromed and just polished. If any local guy buys them , I'll sort you the kerb damage for a small fee
  17. good ploy on sellers behalf though, will certainly drive the prices up and pay the fees twice
  18. really? Ohlins is normally sh*t hot stuff. Well they are on bikes etc..... never had em on a car, but assumed they would be good. Guess they track orientated ones then? don't know if these are the same part number that the Sumo Z had on but yeah they supposedly are @*!# hot stuff, still suspensions are all about driveability mate. I heard the Ohlins for the Z (unless there's more than 1 model that they do) are a HARD ride, so basically not for a daily driver.
  19. don't forget the Yaris has about 3hp so speed will be max 75mph we'll save petrol at least
  20. quite sure they just unclip mate
  21. was thinking more Lymm services on the M6? i'd be coming from work directly (Appleton) Debbie would meet me first and would also be good for Liam? PS what's the best route fo us NWers anyway?????
  22. Grant has them on his roadster, think he got the Variant 3 (ie top of the range) they are supposedly quite good quality, can't see what variant are these ones though from the box
