he he Val...... did you manage to find 4th gear? I'll only say that the only Z that passed me was Steve_B's and he's a trackday evteran and had already been at Silverstone too. There was 350doc in my group, fiercedonkey (584hp!!!! but was running low boost as it was too hot) and another couple of Zeds.... none of them passed me, and I started in front of them. So I must not have been going THAT slow

Yes we went to the BRD stands too. It was a good view from the far side though, plenty of opportunity to get pictures for people. Mind you, at the speed you were going Val I could have taken shots from the slimest of vantage points anywhere on the track I considered asking the marshalls if they would let me jog alongside to get just the right shot. And I can't jog for toffee. you cheeky biatch, at least i had the balls to do a track session but the best bit was to ring you at the end and say i'd totalled the Z at the last lap, holidays were off etc. etc. You then (and Tracy, but that hadn't been calculated so I did apologise to her! ) walked all the way back to the Z enclosure for nothing
