I have 31k but no issues with the clutch and it's been driven "properly" too. But yeah some clutches have failed not due to abuse at only a few thousands miles

in the case of a Z at least you still get the same car (more or less) but most of the times you get what you pay for, quality wise ALthough some bargains are still possible, some times

do you intend to modify the Z ? if so you might want to look at imports, build date past Novemeber 04 (and use the money you saved for some nice mods) Tiptronic is a very nice box, and very reliable apparently. I drove one briefly and was quite impressed with it. I'd still go for a manual, but depends on your use of the Z really
