  1. revised suspensions and general improvements to the interior plastics and a few more things I can't remember. Likely not to suffer from other known issues like Tyre feathering (if still on RE040)
  2. one of ALton Towers too if you like
  3. any maps you want them to be
  4. it's a gearbox out job, so takes quite a few hours. Lots of upgradeable clutches out there for you to choose from. IRO $500 plus shipping VAT & customs
  5. there's 3 buttons, one is spare. yeah you have 5 maps you can alternate with the UTEC, one of them is the standard one. There is a UK distributor but afaik noone has been mapped or installed with a UTEC yet though. The Italians have done it through a tuner they know though, with decent results
  6. no it's for my future UTEC map switch seriously, it's a spare
  7. see the mail I got from Novidem and pasted above
  8. never heard of that 1 before.. at least over here tbh. btw
  9. actually it's a lot of fun....
  10. edited my previous post as you'll have EBD not ESP which = VDC (I think, getting confused myself now )
  11. you'll have EBD and TCS but since it's a cheapo you won't have VDC if your model (which JDM was it in the first place anyway?) is the equivalent to the US one that doesn't get it.
  12. this is for the US models so you might be right... but all UK models get both TCS and VDC "The 2006 350Z offers a power-assisted 4-wheel disc Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist. (BA). Brembo brakes, featuring four front caliper pistons and two rear and larger pads and rotors, are standard on the Coupe Track and Coupe and Roadster Grand Touring models. Traction Control System (TCS) and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) (not available on all models) work in conjunction with the braking package. TCS uses the ABS wheel speed sensors to detect if the rear wheels are accelerating faster than the fronts. If so, torque is reduced to the drive wheels by altering the fuel injector pulse and controlling the Electronic Throttle Control motor. Working hand-in-hand with the Anti-lock Braking System and the Traction Control System, VDC can reduce engine torque or apply individual brakes as necessary to help stabilize the car under severe cornering situations or adverse weather conditions."
  13. VDC is just another name for the ESP see my FAQ
  14. see my new FAQ. also, Nissan's own definition is: "ESP ESP is the latest traction and stability aid. It automatically monitors wheel grip and adjusts a spinning or slipping wheel using a combination of the brake and engine torque. ESP+ is linked to an active brake limited slip differential, as well as to the latest generation of anti-lock brakes with electronic brake distribution (ABS+EBD), Nissan brake assist and traction control (TCS)."
  15. that gap in the pic is minimal, for what I've seen around mate on a 350Z...
  16. isn't that one of Nissan GB's plates? ops should ahve read all thread
  17. agree with Richie.... it's a good fit mate, even a Veilside lip Steve-B had was never a completely perfect fit, and he knows what he's doing + Veilside quality....
  18. yeah it does, not sure if it'll work in the same way with the Alpine
