  1. Debbie got better ! first month she had the yaris she managed to scrape rear bumper, passenger door, front bumper and denied she ever did that! (I came back to the car and it was like that!) yeah right She hasn't damaged it for many months in a row now, fingers crossed she's staying like that. it also needs to be said that she's only been driving since August 2005
  2. First to PM will take. £45 including shipping mainland UK

  4. yup, sounds like a synchro issue... someone calculated ~£800 for parts and labour from a gearbox specialist
  5. there's a difference between 1 and 2 gear notchiness and the syncho problem. Personally i've never read of the 1-2 gear synchro being an issue. Both my gearboxes do/have done the same from 1 to 2 gear, especially when cold.
  6. to chrome it, do you have to chrome the INSIDE of the plenum too?? you don't powdercoat the inside of the plenum, for example... do you polish the inside of the plenum ?? re. surface mating with the lower plenum
  7. always known of only 1 version too tbh
  8. I've had personal experience of my first front lip sprayed to perfection being completely covered in stone chips in the first week or so. I dread to think what a FRP bumper would look like after a month! Maybe I'm just a perfectionist, but FRP and front parts of the car do not go well together
  9. can you upgrade in any way this thrust bearing???
  10. I have a few on the radar but all seem to have some issues Vertex (fibreglass) (no paintshield pattern) Nismo V2 style(tech group buy) seems rather low (and need to check quality of the ABS copies) (no paintshield pattern) not many more I like tbh I might just repair my front lip and only use it for shows (and not drives, like when I ended up in Glyn's field ' )
  11. there's a lot of drawbacks: 1- most common bumper apart from oem 2- fibreglass 3- needs paintshielding (again) If it's cheap enough (and being on here I predict it won't be...) I could keep it for winter. Could be one of the few bumpers that doesn't give me too much grief wrt clearance, though. I'm not going out to buy a specific Nismo bumper though, full price. A nice to have, nothing more PS it's funny how Bap reads things I never said and then tries to twist them! thread here, and i dare bap to point me where I said the Nismo kit looks chav. thread here blacked out rear lights thread
  12. not really mate, search on my350z, you'll find quite a few was trying to see from the picture if anything could reconduct to a non-uk setting... the bench for presses in the garden surely doesn't equates English weather only way is to contact him and see if he accepts to a visit... again careful though as I read about people being robbed of the car they turned up in....
  13. might be the only bumper worth putting on that wouldn't give me clearance issues you see! PMd back
  14. it's not the colour per se that is wrong, it's the colour matching. but I underdstand your comment coming from a baby blue lover
  15. david it's not the wrong shape for the coupe', more than a mat it's actually like a tray... looks nice actually
  16. not a bad price! bargain in fact i'd say mind you, red seats on a purple car???
  17. never heard of the brand tbh.... also no Y pipe included?
  18. Tim you might as well tell me now how much you are prepared to pay for it mate....
  19. that's the JDM boot mat. i have one (and the UK one too btw), and not too sure it would fit a roadster, would need to see the shape of the boot...
  20. David, would you risk it going for £800 though? no reserve, nothing! scam imo, bet if someonefrom Glasgow offers to go see it he refuses another thing.... POST WORLDWIDE?
  21. oh dear I'd pay for that pic!!!! :teeth:
  22. which owner didn't mind? I did, for example. Beavis' link doesn't show plates specifically on this website, although if I was him, out of courtesy i would take all number plates off. In fact that's what i always do when posting pics of other people's cars... No plates to be shown on the site unless the owner doesn't mind. Thread locked.
  23. it's not a matter of dullness, the fact that you can't grasp it reinforces your new nickname. people don't want their plates showing on your signature. As a gesture of respect towards other members, just comply and stop making yourself look like an idiot.
