  1. going tonight, I heard critics' reviews saying it's a masterpiece!
  2. yeah that if you are not careful of what you put on your z (proven track record, etc) you can end up losing power instead of making any
  3. results both in Italy and US have shown ~15hp increase with basic bolt ons. WRT the maps, I'd say they could be more useful than you think, even NA the OEM ECU has already got "3 maps". Limp mode, fuel saving and aggressive driving. Improving over those 2 (ie more economical driving) could be one map, then you could the the most aggressive map you can, then maybe a "valeting map" for when you hand in the Z to the dealer/wife/gf (so that then can't go over say 4000rpm) Quite a few possibilities imho
  4. so EIS are already ok with tuning it ?

    New volk rims

black with red edge on a GM? Andy you blind? don't think they would. Awesome on a chilli or kuro though
  6. sarnie the volks you have a pic of I've seen on a GM Z... they look HOT! got for it
  7. the extra cold air tube that goes into the metal casing where the cone sits.
  8. well if the receiver works with someone else's connection, it clearly works! it's the network to yr house that seems to b the problem LOL
  9. used I hope! (@ charlied price) SL I'm waiting on ideas for prices on the cosworth setup
  10. have no idea anymore! let's start again! TheMinel captint flirt
  11. i definitely felt the difference once i took off the plenum, and can't wait to put something else on it, be it a spacer or the Cosworth one But the UTEC is definitely on the cards, some time
  12. got it from an ebay buyer in edinburgh and Derek helped me shipping it over at minimal cost! £220 + £10 shipping, was the best price I could find it at, and I phoned ALL K&N stockists in the NW ! easy to fit, I'd say yeah, only tricky bit was the MAF sensor you need special bits (called security bits) to take it off. Also, the fact that you can add the suction cone or not gives you a choice. I just put it on for the summer, but think I'm gonna keep it as the design makes it basically impossible for water ingress. If the price is right for the Cosworth setup (plenum + intake) I might sell mine! It's blue though
  13. not much in NA gains though, yeah you can surely gain 10-15hp by fine tuning your existing NA mods, but that's not on top of what said mods claim to add... although if you want to go FI down the line and get a utec half way in NA guise, it can only do you good, if tuned correctly!
  14. I have, and love it. IMO the best CAI design, compared to aem, nismo, injen. BUT with this new cosworth intake+plenum..... don't know that setup looks the business! (can you say I'm tempted?)
  15. have to agree that for the Bravia, even put next to other HD Tvs (in a shop) unless it was set up very well and the others were very poorly setup.... the difference was staggering!
  16. definitely want to go see that... he's just too funny!
  17. Thor is around Warwick IIRC. re; gains: depends on your other mods. Surely the offer should be even a little better now the £ is even stronger vs the $. But we need numbers, and guinea pigs
  18. different tastes of different people on different forums didn't you get them from CTD though? the ones on ebay look a cheap copy though!
  19. it will be on the expensive side... wonder if it's going to be more than the $1000 you pay for the SSV! surely it can't cost more than twice say an APS plenum! (and that would still put iro £5-600! )
  20. plenum wise I'd wait to see prices for the new Cosworth one guys.... now THAT looks like a serious piece of kit
  21. what a beast! curious to see numbers on this! notice the "velocity stacks" or whatever they are inside, that'll be covered by a CF cover. Also, this will replace upper and lower plenum... http://www.350z-tech.com/forums/index.p ... =22682&hl=
