    Thor Racing?

been to see them way back as they are UTEC Uk distributors, but never had any work done there. For some reason they didn't convince me 100%, just my impression though
  3. correct servicing schedule is P1 9000miles or 1 year whichever comes first P2 180000miles or 2 years whichever comes first P1 27000miles or 3 years whichever comes first P3 36000miles or 4 years whichever comes first repeat ad infinitum
  4. I would most definitely say so, unless some JDM owner tells me otherwise

    Mixing kits

wrt matching with the Speed-racing rear... I'm not sure it'd work. the Nismo skirts (whether JDM or USDM type) are not that low while the SR kit is one of the lowest out there, including the rear. You might end up with skirts that look higher than your rear, looking a bit weird. The SR skirts actually are lower at the back too, making this more obvious, possibly
  6. good job it's in the correct section, and I'm not referring to the "babes"
  7. Mike, don't forget to post pics when you get her!
  8. wow, more expensive than I thought Think I'm going down the colour coding route
  9. tell you what Dorian, you are still fresh in my trusted retrimmer's memory, old fella, 50+ with tweed jacket and everything, driving that innocent looking Z and then turning it on..... you scarred him for life! He says hello
  10. how much was it from Richie? I'm tempted either by that or colour code it if I find another spare cover
  11. is it a complete replacement or does it go on top of it? looks good! PS that plastic looks a bit grubby, Gus, do something about it!
  12. the guys have covered everything you need to look out for, enjoy your stay
  13. Think it's Richie? he's the owner of Equibs, an Australian company that deals in CF parts
  14. some people have Uk ones, somehow
  15. losing 100+kg on the Z is going to be expensive (CF doors! )! also the extra 40hp mentioned are going to be quite expensive, with cams and amuse ECU. Not even sure if the Amuse ecu would be ok on our cars. At first thought I'd say why not... but who's willing to risk it?
  16. they might have even messed up the re installation of the gearbox! Since they fixed your synchro issue, they have reinstalled the whole box. hence they are still responsible for their work
  17. he probably meant the EBD stuff, i can't even remember it now, but there was a thread where we found out which version had what, a while back
  18. B-pillar= ebay. I picked up an original Varis one quite cheap, looks great Nismo CF will be a replica (don't think they do a Nismo CF original) not too sure who make them, on my350Z there's some vendors there who should be able to source one for you. Bear in mind that fitment should be spot on, as adjusting the CF base could be messy lip cover= again, ebay is probably the best option, Richie from here also does them I think?
  19. Well i never I don't have an issue in apologising, especially when I recognise that things might have been understood differently from how they were meant in the first place. On the other hand I thoroughly recommned members to save £12 by buying an £8 from Halfords.
  20. I have a perfectly working £8 cargo net from halfords in my Z. Does the job, works perfectly. I never meant to imply Tim is ripping people off, and if that is what is understood, I apologise. What i wanted to do is show members that cheaper alternatives are possible, they work perfectly and save them money. Isn't that what internet forums are all about? It's down to a seller to show me why I would want to buy from him if I find the same product, cheaper. Consumer power, all the way.
  21. No, thats the path you led us down. NISMO's post, although harsh, was a direct reaction upon reading your post. I think its YOU who owes Tim an apology! I most definitely don't need to apologise to Tim. If he advertises items on an open forum, he should expect people to challenge his prices and/or offer alternatives. I didn't lead you down any path, you are an adult, you draw your own conclusions and make your own decisions. If £20 for a cargo net is fine for some people, great. I just wanted to point out other alternatives and people make their own mind up. Now Sarnie if you are so easily led, I've got a little contract I'd like you to sign.... it's nothing really, just sign on the dotted line.... don't bother reading it
