  1. Zeds not a bad car, has lots of good aspects I just lost the thrill of driving it very quickly. The s2k was more rewarding to drive. But the zed was a better cruiser when I had a passenger. S2k did better mpg but not massive. Zed was better on insurance. Swings and roundabouts.
  2. Having owned both I found the s2000 was the better car, but that's what suited me. Everyone is different. You'll find most on here will disagree with me. And you'll also have all the people who've never owned an s2000 tell you its crap or a girls car. Drive both and see what suits you best. The zed is good but its heavy 300bhp sounds good but when you drive one it doesn't feel like 300bhp. Horses for courses and all that.
  3. Your too old too I work with kids it keeps me young
  4. They should hand their licence over when they get the bus pass.
  5. Bmw make cool cars I'd have an m6 please, or an old 8 series with a v12, or an old 7 series with either the v8s or the v12. M3 is a superb drive. And I'm sorry I can't take car advice from anyone who's owned a Hyundai.
  6. I could commute to work on that. How much?
  7. FI cars in general are so much easier to tune. just changing the lower pulley on my supercharger is a 40bhp gain for a part that costs £100 thats £2.50 per 1 BHP gained an NA zed remap is what... £300 and maybe see's maybe 20 bhp gain max so a cost of £15 per 1 BHP gained its alot easier to get more bang for your buck with a factory made FI car, especially as lots are de tuned to meet different regs, so its easy to retune once bought
  8. the jag is low maintanence as well well that model is the older x100 is a regualr spanner job until you've rebuilt it.
  9. i'm looking forward to the light entertainment, i watch as it has cars in it, not becuase its specifically about cars. its better than half the crap out there at the moment.
  10. i have 1 set of these left if thats any help? http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/70886-rtcustomz-carbon-dipped-interior-arm-rests-80/
  11. anything that is as heavily built as either an SC or an engine swap requires a certain amount of continuous fiddling. generally anything like this that didn't come from the factory like that needs regualr little tweeks, maintanence etc. its not a fit and forget type of mod. if your not technically minded it may become frustrating if you can't do it yourself and have to keep taking it to a speciailist as something happens each time. its not that it will be unreliable as the engine or SC build are good products. but you'll always find yourself in the engine bay "adjusting" things. 15k-18k is a good budget for a replacement car what about a maserati Gransport http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201305307026362/sort/default/usedcars/fuel-type/petrol/model/gransport/make/maserati/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/radius/1500/page/1/postcode/ip52hr?logcode=p Aston DB7 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201306127255785/sort/default/usedcars/price-to/19000/body-type/coupe/engine-size-cars/5lplus/fuel-type/petrol/make/aston_martin/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/page/1/radius/1500/postcode/ip52hr?logcode=p Jag XK http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201306137264817/sort/pricedesc/usedcars/price-to/19000/body-type/coupe/engine-size-cars/4l_to_4-9l/fuel-type/petrol/model/xk/make/jaguar/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/radius/1500/postcode/ip52hr/page/1?logcode=p TVR Tuscan http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201306197379544/sort/pricedesc/usedcars/price-to/19000/body-type/coupe/fuel-type/petrol/model/tuscan/make/tvr/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/postcode/ip52hr/page/1/radius/1500?logcode=p Porsche 911 turbo http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201306177327795/sort/pricedesc/usedcars/body-type/coupe/fuel-type/petrol/price-to/19000/model/911_turbo/make/porsche/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/postcode/ip52hr/radius/1500/page/1?logcode=p lotus esprit http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201302015158930/sort/pricedesc/usedcars/fuel-type/petrol/body-type/coupe/price-to/19000/model/esprit/make/lotus/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/page/1/radius/1500/postcode/ip52hr?logcode=p Vauxhall monaro http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201301255049775/sort/pricedesc/usedcars/price-to/19000/fuel-type/petrol/body-type/coupe/model/monaro/make/vauxhall/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/page/1/postcode/ip52hr/radius/1500?logcode=p BMW M6 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201306127245677/sort/pricedesc/usedcars/price-to/19000/fuel-type/petrol/body-type/coupe/model/m6/make/bmw/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/page/1/radius/1500/postcode/ip52hr?logcode=p
  12. whats you budget if you decide to change cars instead of mod?
  13. i got to 13 minutes and lost interest, but from what i can see is this not just delay tactics? as far as i'm aware it hasn't stopped the house from repossession, just delayed it until the balliffs have toe correct paper work?
  14. its coming on a treat, next thing we'll know bluebell will be NoS'ed up
  15. thing is if a cat was on my bonnet i wouldnt want to scare it off as it will dig in its nails for a quick escape making the damage worse. is it then the pet owners fault or the car owners fault. if the car owner hadn't scared it off it wouldnt have left the scratches. a detterent is far better than an offensive scarer offerer citron, pepper are all good deterrents, could grow lemon grass and lemon balm near the car
  16. i live in an area where there must be at least 10 different cats, if you can pinpoint which cat did what you're doing well. my cats down sit on cars, but my neighbours cat likes the bonnet of my V8, as its proper toasty. but most if any scratches come out with a polish.
  17. so the third one was a BM-Doublemule and the last one a bugat-TT
