Hi and welcome, am in Suffolk myself, over between Ipswich and Woodbridge. If you need any help feel free to drop round. I know the car fairly well even though I don't own one anymore.

I found the zed engine note a bite lack lustre. I'd rank the Alfa v6 and the golf r32 engine as better sounding. The zed engines biggest issue is it had to drag around its fat behind. The car was over weight and should have had a small fi unit to bring the power up to match the weight.

I want to be just like that knob jockey..... said no one ever! What an end of a bell that numpty is -
Lamborghini used to build tractors, doesn't mean I wouldn't own one. Aston martin was started by 2 tractor engineers, hence the DB in DB7, 9 ETC stands for David Brown, definitely doesn't put me off them. Lotus used the rover K series engine, them they used the Toyota 1ZZ and 2ZZ engines, both superb engines out of the mr2 and Celica. The BMW mini engine is used in a whole host of cars. If its 1.6 and FI its most likely a BMW engine. Aston martin are using a rebuilt Toyota IQ as the cygnet. And to end my argument I have 2 words... Renault ...Alpine As for the Nissan engine, as V6 goes I have to say its not the best in the world, there are more tuneful and better performing out there, but it does the job well in the zed.... and the vel satis

Used sh!t fit once for a tyre change, they offered a few vehicle check, they came back to tell me the starter motor was on its way out and needed changing. Interesting I said, what makes you think its on the way out? We test it was the reply. Funny I said, I had it replaced last week. Bloke went very quiet, got the tyre change for free. That was the first and last time I ever went to Kwik fit.

CoPilot GPS - Better than Google Maps ?
rtbiscuit replied to RobPhoboS's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I remember using copilot years ago with my palm pilot/smart e organiser thing (precursor to the smart phone) it was good software, no complaints, preferred it to TomTom. I still have my standalone navigon GPs that I dig out on occasions as back up to my phone. So reliable never lets me down. -
theortical insurance liability question
rtbiscuit replied to rtbiscuit's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Highway code states that you must not park within 15 feet of the corner, but it doesn't say there is a penalty for doing it. Only that the law can take action if it requires to do so. We regularly ring the non emergency number to mention the parking and the PCSO does come down and knock on doors etc 24 hours they're back. I'm sure there was some special stipulation that meant the parked car caused the accident. Any police on here with any knowledge on this? -
This has been bugging me for a while now. The street I live on has an issue with people parking on the corner of the exit to the road and both corners further down the road. There have been several near misses, myself included when pulling out at the T junction the view is blocked and nearly hitting a car which is tray selling on the main road. Or pulling into the road, having to use the opposite side and nearly hitting someone leaving the junction. In the case of an accident happening is either driver at fault or is the illegal parked car owner at fault? For some reason I seem to remember being told its the parked cars fault because if it wasn't there the accident wouldn't happen. Same with a situation where if you drove into an illegal parked car to avoid another accident its still the parked cars fault? I'd be interested to see what the forum says, and if possible the forum insurers as the situation at the moment is guaranteed to cause an accident at some point, its not an if but a when. And I'd like to know where I stand if I'm the unlucky person who ends up having it.

Biggest let down was the 350Z, wasn't a bad car just felt it never delivered what I had expected Exceed my expectations was the mr2 roadster, absolute gem of a motor. Met expectations I suppose my xkr possibly why its been my longest ever car ownership.

I had issues with my new home hub from BT, had to turn off the smart channel function and designate a single channel. Smart Chanel was fecking with my wireless printer, and wireless hub for entertainment stuff.

Not seen NiCad post in a looooooooong time. I like the stillen setup up uses a proper supercharger, god old roots style top mounted whiner. Think it was designed more as a fit and forget kind of setup up no a fit and tweak for the rest of your life setup. They did at least 2 versions never got the gains that vortech get, but keeps more in keeping (so I hear) with the cars original keeping

Having been at the front of a 6 car pile up on the a12. The insurers will fight out amongst themselves for who's to blame, unless all traffic was at a stop, then its an easy blame to pin straight on the back car. As for the lad in the middle, he wasn't at fault and the accident was when he was at a standstill. It will show an accident on his insurance but it won't affect his no claims or make him Uninsurable next renewal.

Use both Netflix and sky movies, although I plan to cancel sky movies. Love Netflix, and as I bounce between tablet, phone, pc and Xbox it just picks up where I left off.

Looks like front and rear bumper damage only. Insurance repairer will check sub frame but I bet its fine. At worse the exhaust might need realigning as well.
-
nope its because when the 350 was on sale was the start of the economic crisis. I picked my zed up at 18 months old for less than half price. The arse had fallen out of the market big time. And if you still had money and didn't care, you could Pick up some very good bargains in the car world.

As for jag advertising, I'm hoping for at least Viagra, if not saga, and maybe sugardaddy.com
