  1. horsham development are good guys. never used them but are well respected on here. never heard any bad press, I know Jez has been doing all kinds of projects and he knows his stuff and the cars well.
  2. semi synthetic is fine to be honest but people like to give their cars the best etc. it makes more of a difference if you do alot of "spirited driving" and offers a little more protection to the engine. but to be honest if you let an engine warm up properly first, change the oil on a regular basis, and keep it checked and topped up if needed then it doesnt matter.
  3. any decent fully synthetic will do; you could spend mucho money and go amsoil which is pretty damn good stuff, but it costs a bomb. anything like fuchs, mobil1 etc will do
  4. Finally got round to shooting some slightly better clips of the exhaust now its bedded in. sorry about the wind noise.
  5. sounds like someone needs a pimp slap
  6. in the zed i used royal purple many others like fuchs titan pro S (used to be silkolene) go on the opie oil site search car specific and have a browse.
  7. just looks like someone has painted the rear can black with heat paint.
  8. event would have been my first option might be time to dig the yell.com app out.
  9. sleep on it, thats what i do with big decisons; sometimes for weeks on end. big money normally comes with high risk, if it was easy they wouldn't pay the big money. I would say life isn't always about the money, i'd rather do a job that i enjoyed and get paid less, rather than do a high paid job i hated. I get bored easily and need a challenge; it keeps me on my toes. I'll never be rich but i know that i'm happy; hence doing the teaching. I wouldn't want to get 40 years down the line and look back on my life and think "what have i actually achieved". I think in this case for you the contracting might give you the challenge you're maybe missing in the PAYE job. by the sounds of it in this career path reputation counts for a lot and thats what you're trading on. so if you do a good job and get the results the work should be a given. being a gobshite just means your human and most people would prefer to hire someone human than some boring robot. sit down and have a chat with your missus. althoguh this is your job, it affects both of you so technically should be a joint decision.
  10. early cars did have camber issues but that should have been fixed
  11. well someones already setup a UK club for it already
  12. In what way does it remind you of a nismo exhaust. A nismo exhaust isn't true dual, a nismo exhaust does not have a big black backbox either and is highly polished thats not true dual either
  13. still waiting for the hot version of the BRZ or a proper hot verion of the ft86 the TRD version is nice but its all dress work.
  14. i can see them making the zed a 4 pot and making the 200 a competitior with things like the MX5 etc
  15. can you see nissan making the zed more up market? if you up the price is it not then competing with the GTR?
  16. hence why they're putting a 4 pot turbo jobbie in
  17. could even go 5 cylinder like the focus but use a small sc and turbo combined effort, that way you have torque through the rev range like a V engine as the SC does the ground work and the turbo takes over ones its up to boost. means you keep the power, but improve the economy. that or they need to look at making it hybrid with use of electric motors on the front wheels and maybe some form of KERS.
  18. they look alot easier to drive on and off. for anyone who has never tried driving up metal ramps you need balls. they are quiet steep and i've always worried about going over the edge. especially as most are made for cars with normal width tyres, so anything wide goes over either edge, and does mean the stopper on metal ones aren;t as effective. the foam ones look alot more user friendly. especially for wider wheel setups. shame they aren't cheaper. good find tarmac, and good luck with sales
  19. that owners flattering you, they obviously think your very thin
