  1. makes a change from "nice audi"
  2. http://www.woodsport.org/joomla/ http://www.roguesystems.co.uk/ both do engine conversions. if it was me i'd be converting to the 2ZZ engine and then turboing that and this shows how easy they are to work on. http://www.mr2roc.org/phpBB3/viewtopic. ... 9&p=337004 loved working on the MR2 roadster you could change a manifold in 30 min an exhaust was a doddle taking about 20 min and dropping an engine out was pretty straight forward.
  3. can cut it for you if you need it
  4. some cars can be almost plug, play and go. the PE turbo kit for the MR2Roadster was a quick and esy intsall and a piggyback ECU (needed tuning)
  5. couldn't remember its name so called it gold top, but yes the edge is good
  6. i prefer those to the other ones as well
  7. just watch the magnatec, it used to have a habit of going watery. i used it in the jag, but swapped to mobil one recently. if going castrol i'd be tempted with their gold top stuff . that or go browse opie. they have gulf performance stuff and lots of choice.
  8. Ah OK, fair enough. From what I've been reading up on, they don't appear to have a standard fitting either! I'll just try and sanding them down and painting the outside black to see how that looks. Cheers for all your input. Sorry to repeat my question, but do you know if these will fit if I end up buying new ones? http://www.part-box.com/product_info.ph ... s_id=17076 It does say TE37(19 Inch), or is there anything else I need to look out for? Cheers if it says it will fit the 19" variant then my guess is if yours are 19" then they fit.
  9. its not actually a glass roof he had it painted black
  10. from the look of the design of your wheel centres they don;t look like they can be wrapped. the logo is raised, and the carbon indented. they look like they would be a pig to refurb.
  11. event tyres would be my suggestion
  12. Thanks for your feedback. Do you have any good sources for new centres? What would I need to remove the marks before I paint them? Sorry to be a noob, but what do you mean by cut a new logo? I do vinyl cutting, it won;t be as good as originals, but as an example these were the ones i did for my old OZ wheels Would these look any good do you think? http://goo.gl/rQ4bZ Nope, but thats just personal taste These looks like the expensive option! - http://www.part-box.com/product_info.ph ... s_id=17076 Possible Or these looks good - http://www.vividracing.co.uk/volk_gt_hi ... 486145.php possible agian, but you'd need to check fitment these are your actual ones but they aren't cheap http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm5/m ... Code=VR-CC this website has a selection, dealt with evasive before, good company. http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm5/m ... Code=VR-CC there are some specific websites that deal with wheel centres and have a good selection, but can;t think of the one o was on a while back.
  13. if you come over to suffolk i can do it for you
  14. Bronze and thats proper volk bronze Gold http://s1.aecdn.com/images/news/gallery ... lery_1.jpg bit more in your face not sure gold works as well on the 370z as the cars not ballsy enough
  15. the club never really has, not since i started at least.
  16. don't really get hang overs, few times felt abit rough in the morning but a fry up has fixed it. the onyl time i've had a full on hangover; and i knew it was bad because i couldn't face food in the morning; and this was my stag do! My mates had a mission on their hands to get me absolutly tw@ted i lost track by about 2am but i knew i'd had the local scrumpy at 14% several top shelves amoung other stuff. vaguly remember a lift home where 12 of us crammed into someones people carrier. apparently my dad sat in the boot with it open holding me round the waist with my feet dragging on the floor as the car drove back. got up in the moring feeling like death, one wiff of food and threw up on the spot. i went back to bed stayed there till 7pm then had to drive back home to my wife, the 1 hour drive took 2 hours as i did 40 mph down the A12 didn;t eat for 3 days felt grim for a week. it was after this that i remembered i wasn;t at uni any more and can;t drink as much as when i was playing rugby.
  17. flood damaged cars are usually a right off, most i think can only be used for spare parts, they can;t be returned to the road. could be wrong but i think it gets registered as a cat B or might be a C
  18. yes you could spray them, but on such expensive wheels i'd want to maintain the original wheel centres otherwise whats to distinguish them from something like rota's. if it were me i'd be looking to buy a new set of centres. or possibly paint them and i can cut you a new logo to go on them once painted.
