    Duel or not?

a true dual with no join between them is ok, but if you get one with an H or X pipe in it then it will be alot better. this allows both banks of the engine to scavenge exhaust gases and balance the engine. allows for a smoother run and should allow more gain. x and H pipes on V8's H pipes have a nicer note to them but X pipe allows for better gains. (or so i've been told) on an NA v6 like the zed i'd invest in either a custom built system, or a decent brand exhaust, the invidias are very good.
  6. These things had bolts on so they came out as well - I'll work out what they do later that looks like the brake servo those pipes were brake pipes and i don;t think it had ABS so i doubt its an ABS control module so i would supsect its brake servo
  7. if it was white it would need a nice high metallic count
  8. i had the same gaitors and they really set the interior off, not only that they feel so much better than the leathette of the originals.
  9. have to agree with you beavis, went in to pick up some booze from the local tesc ho, and they had christmas boxed chocolates on the shelves
  10. i did it with the XKR its 12 years old now, a list of problems the length of my arm, and i am one by one tackling them to make it 100% perfect. and to be honest, i've been loving the process and enjoying the car. now 18 months in i'd usually be looking for the next car. but i'm so happy i haven't bothered. always needs something fixing, when i do fix one thing, something else breaks. but its always been driveable, and i love the look and the presence the car has. if your financially in the position that you can cover any suprise issues, i'd say do it.
  11. you mean like this was tempted by the white, but not sure it looks as good as i thought it would, maybe a cream instead of a white? interior leather is cream.
  12. i'm thinking like the last one, but the centre and the spark covers in chrome
  13. been trawling and found some more examples
  14. and before you know it you'll find your first grey pube!!!
  15. their populations are exponential and their need for resources is the same. go look at the increase in car sales over the last 5 years in china and india. if we weren;t short on fuel now we will be in the near future
  16. lots of options for that budget and lots of traders with a variety of products have a browse through the likes of Tarmacsportz Redline styling cougar store all zed specialists I've lost track of who does what, there is some cross over between them, work out what you want, who'll give you the best price and get shopping
  17. depends on the wheel, but i think some are close in weight to the rays. but weight goes up more as soon as you add larger 19" tyres
  18. very true, its why if weight is an issue you want the lightest wheels possible to account for the increase in tyre weight. you can get some of the benefits in 18 by going for a wider 18" wheel, and choosing a tyre with good strong stiff side walls or reinforced tyres, most reinforceds have the letters XL next to them. so if you see 2 identical tyres but ones more expensive its often becasue its reinfoced, or a different compond designed for a specific manufacturer. if its manufacturer specific, it has extra letters (code for each manfucaturer) the only ones who tend to have these are audi, jaguar, merc, porsche and ferrari are the most common. you can go lower profile on zed 18"s but you might suffer TCS issues, but turning it off fixes that if i was purely interested about tracking the zed for maximum benefit. i'd go with the lightest 18" with a wide stance and add lower profile tyres. i would have shed the unsprung weight improved the grip and reduced the tyre roll and increased steering and car feedback.
