  1. Pop the Saab into the ZedShed when she isn't looking I'll fit them then (you) take it back - just imagine the look of joy on her face when she can see what we have done a nice flamer kit as well, some under car lighting, a set of washer jet LED's and a whooping 7 inch single exit exhaust. and a fat racing stripe down the middle.
  2. wishful thinking it looks life an F type
  3. lot of choice on the matte colour spectrum the matte red looks good as does the matte yellow
  4. so a forum present for vik this christmas is we all club together and buy some lambo doors for her saab
  5. i have to get lucy to check all letters and job applications i write, i also get my father inlaw to help me write my statements and covering letters. he's very good, i'll send him my first draft and he makes it readable i'm not the best at reading; my hand writing looks like a 5 year old, and i struggle in academic debate, in the past the easy fix was just to punch the other person i'm all growd up now so i can;t do that, so now i just nod and look like i know what people are talking about
  6. should be under a grand for that easy, depends on who does it, the quality of the vinyl and their skills. look for places that use hexis, and check their reputation online.
  7. i'd be quiet happy with it in standard spec no need to wrap it jay, i'll just collect it as it is
  8. i'd say lucy and i are on a par, she is more academically smarter, i'd say she's the better teacher out of the 2 of us. shes' been teaching 2 years less than me and is already senior leadership team. she takes after her dad, and mum who are both very good teachers, very good with language skills etc spoken and written. i on the other hand am some what of a dumbass when it comes to things like that. but i'd say i have more common sense than my wife, more practically intelligent, and a bit more wordly/seasoned if that makes sense. i maybe cant write the best essay or tell you what a noun is, but i can strip down and engine, telly uo whats broken and fix it. in fact most things i can fix. and i can;t be that stupid, i got a degree and i have an IQ of 129, by no means a mensa applicant but not too shabby. (did them as part of my degree)
  9. nowt wrong with it? wouldn't buy one and would never add lambo doors as it just makes the owner look ghey! but its not like its visually ruined. buy it and get in and out of it dukes of hazzard style.
  10. I would say hydrogrpahics, but it has the same issues as skinning. the only advantage is that there is nearly 0 material thickness add to the part. and could possibly be quicker as its just a painted finish.
  11. thats easy the S3 is the better on tech and battery, but the one X has a better feel, more metal less plastic. i have the one X and if the S3 had been free as well i probably would have gone for that as its expandable where as the one x isnt
  12. No lol? Does modding your car turn it into a Ferrari? Do you understand what jailbreaking lets you do? So many haters, also I dont pay £5 extra a month for my iphone sim its £10 a month. no idea? its why i asked? i'm guessing it removes the restrictions apple puts on the phone to do things their way, but what exactly that is i have no idea not hating, more intrigued.
  13. I moved off machine applied just because it's not very long lasting. But when I did, it was the NXT2. I've got two full bottles if you want to make use of it. Slip me some free sticker tokens and I'll pop it on the post to you i've still got some nxt squirt wax, still i think and some of megs 3 step stuff as well. not tried it on the jag so might dig it out forst and give it a try. might stick with my dodo for now
  14. are you hoping the tree is in the way? if so i'd keep quiet
  15. nearly bought megs new ultimate liquid wax. the shiney bottle had me hooked put it back down and walked away with just the car shampoo any reccomendations for a machine applyable wax?
  16. good to know. currently use purple haze pro and blue velvet pro. and going round once is enough for me, too lazy to want to go round twice lol. looking for something to apply by machine, was wondering if PB nattys blue paste might do the job.
  17. my wife has the XC60, its a really well put togehter car, and nice to drive
  18. not me but the guys at megauirs said it. went to one of their detailing days. am intrgued though, only difference between soft and hard waxes is how they are stored as far as i'm aware. wax is wax? is it not? yes there are variations in ingredients, but is it not to do with the delivery of the wax dictates the consistency? i.e. those who want to put it on by hand and those who prefer a machine application? i'm no detailer, so interested to learn more. as far as i was aware you can;t layer wax, you can just go back over and make sure you did the job properly a 2nd time round i suppose. (completely top up the pores in the paint.) as paint is just like skin, it has pores, it breaths, dirt gets trapped in the pores etc hence the need for clay bars etc
  19. shame people have to jail break a phone to get it to do what you want; if its so good why does it need doing? does it just not turn it in to an apple shaped android phone?
  20. what were you caught by? camera van, plod with a gun? static unit? without being rude, most camera setups are all pretty noticeable, either with large luminous diagnols on or painted bright yellow. without being rude possibly need to look at being more observant when you drive. if it shows a 30 sign slow it down. its a pain in the backside i know, but most 30's are through residential areas so its there for a reason. or look at investing in some decent camera spotter gadgets. road angel or something, what ever is top on the market at the mo.
  21. one coats all you need. 2nd coat is just a waste. wax goes on and feels all the dimples in the paint. buffing just removes the excess that doesn;t go into the dimples. this is what makes it bead. putting a 2nd coat on just gets rubbed off with out any impact. it doesnt build up in layers like people think it does.
  22. have to say the zunsport is the grille of choice if i still had a zed, keeps the original grille intact if you ever choose to sell up. others require cuttig the old vent out. plus its decent quality woven stainless mesh and not cheap die cut ally chickin wire thats often sold on here as top notch. its like the difference between tesco and waitrose. both do the same job, but one gives off a much more upmarket feel.
