  1. got one already wrapped and ready to send out, but the plan was to strip it and carbon dip it. as i have another customer interested in that. as well.
  2. third name change since 2008 when i joined
  3. UVworldwide in the past traded on here, but due to issues of poor workmanship and the owner Rik being a lying C**T, he was banned from here. don't trust him, don;t trust the quality of his workmanship, don;t trust his business. i don;t care if he's turned over a new leaf and is employing the reincarnated mother teresa on the customer service desk. as far as i'm concerned he's black listed in the zed community.
  4. ekona said what i would have said, also facotr in that the new paint spray you have has probably more than doubled the original nissan paint thickness. and should be better wearing than nissan. nissan paint is notoriuosly soft, it chips easily and you can even to some extent sqidge it back in place for a repair.(not if its really deep.) your new paint should be better wearing than the nissan, and more resiliant to chipping.

  6. just had a look and they only go up 18" on the rota boost. had an ebay browse and there are som e cheap 19" wheels, but i wouldn't put them on a car
  7. i'm only 5'9" but the shaved head, beard, and the fact i look like shrek generally lead to very few arguments. 6ft 4 with big gangly arms and legs means a 6minute yoga class is in session trying to get in and out a zed. (Or park alone and get out like a lady avoiding upskirt) are you stretch armstrong?
  8. Rota Boost think they do them in a 19" not sure on price, but as rota are a copy of gram lights (the boosts are, they copy lots of others as well), they tend to be alot cheaper
  9. i defied logic with my last purchase, i bough tit because of the colour and the extras it had, as pretty much every other one i looked at didn't have it all. what i also got was lots of stuff to fix but as project cars go i'm very happy
  10. nice copy, looks pretty good, and the fit is spot on.
  11. need to check the hand book, but it might even be possible to laser cut it. just depends if it gives off nasty gases. i have a carbon keyring which has been laser cut so me thinks its possible. should leave you with ni on perfect cuts.
  12. sadly not i'm having to go up to coventry to meet a supplier.
  13. i'm only 5'9" but the shaved head, beard, and the fact i look like shrek generally lead to very few arguments.
  14. like i said, either do me a dimensioned drawing, or make me a paper template, and i'll do it in the workshop. got bench mounted tools which make a job alot easier than using hand tools. or hand operated power tools.
  15. my car comes with a built in trim to protect against doors, it runns the length of the side. and guess where all the dents are... they are above this and on thw wings, and its pretty obvious its caused by kids flinging the door open at the back of a 4X4 or people carrier. where the door curves over their rear wheel at the back, its that higher bit that hits my lower car. i've always been known for my generosity, so if i've seen where someone has given me a ding, i like to return the favour sad thing is i fling a door alot better than a 7 year old my personal favourite was catching a guy doing it while i was sat in the car. flung his door open and dinged my door. i got out and asked him for £100 to pat for the dent to be pulled. he told me to sod off, and its only a sodding car and i should get over it. so i put the sole of my foot into his door. you should have seen his face. " what the sodding hell have you done etc etc etc, i can;t believe you sodding done that etc etc etc, are you sodding going to pay for that etc etc etc." my leaving comment " get over it, its only a sodding car" and drove off. i have to say i spent about 2 weeks expecting the cops to turn up and arrest me for criminal damage. and i'm still suprised they never did. but i think the guy learnt that in future to open his car door more carefully. here endeth the lesson
  16. best to treat cutting CF like working with acrylic sheet. it is after all a plastic at heart. the fibres just tie the resin together. if your going to drill it i'd be using a stepped drill bit, or if the hole needs to be big, work up from a small drill bit. cutting shouldn't be too bad, if you have acess to things like a bandsaw etc will cut it just fine. if you wanted to send it to me with a drawing of what you want cutting i can do it on the scroll saws or trim it with the kit i have a work. you can do it with a dremmel but you'll struggle to get a clean edge.
  17. I don't disagree that the bays are tight, but with a bit of courtesy you can get in and out of them fine. coupes and other 3 door cars find it harder as the door is longer and this makes getting out harder.
  18. its the closest resemblance only kidding it would come under the dark red section

    Engine oil

same stuff, silkolene became titan, they rebranded, silkolene is old stock, titan is new stock
  20. thank god someone has a brain
  21. if you struggle to park a zed in a parking space maybe you need something a little smaller like a little ford KA they fit in the spaces better. christ on a bike, if i can get my XKR in those parking spaces and its a damn site wider than the Zed, then theres no excuse. i just park further away. i have a few door dings in mine from when someone else owned it. all of you who park across 2 spaces do deserve to be on PLAC it pi$$es me off when i get into a busy carpark, and there is no spaces but some ***** has parked across 2. been tempted to get out with a breaker bar and put some proper dings in the side for them. parking across 2 spaces surely encourages more damage to a car. every thinks your a muppet and your more likely to get keyed for it.
  22. Looks like he doesn't cover the jaguar paint chart, Anthracite pearl doesn't really come in on this, but i suppose its closest to black
